Actually I might find this hard to put into words, and still say it in a way that doesn't sound rude, because trust me I don't mean it! <3
You can't really play an old Final Fantasy game without hearing Uematsu-san's great techno-based music during battle. You say it give you you a headache? Does that mean that playing Final Fantasy gives you one? If so... Then why are you here?
Other from that, I might have to say Techno, New Age, Trance, Trip Hop, whatever... it is my musical library aside from the J-Rock and J-pop. I own almost all of the Final Fantasy soundtracks, and honestly... Video Game music has come a long way from the beloved techno-bleepy music of the Arcade Age.
So much love for the old Castlevania. <3

like all genres..good and bad..some artists own...while some of it can be repetitive...
daft punk and enigma are immense though..sometimes i struggle to distinguish between genres though...think the presets are techno, they are fun to listen to.
sometimes, just cant beat a good hard beat.
anyone listen to speedcore? that stuff is hardcore.

speedcore revolves around the beats per minute of tracks... a normal song may have up to 70 bpm...
speedcore tracks have a minimum of 200 and go up to 1000 bpm...though some tracks have higher than that...
so if youve heard a song that is a wall of noise...just beats that sound like a machine gun, extremely violent sounding, then its speedcore (or maybe noizecore..its all kind of the same).
if you want an example...go here, the homepage of one of the most well known speedcore artists, the music is on the page (no downloading or anything needed).

so what artists do you guys listen to, for me its dj alex, supergreen x, tiesto, dj ross, darude, daft punk, basement jaxx, boom boom satellites, dj alice, alice deejay, dirty vegas, aphex twins, benny benassi, disco boys, dj hixxy, laava, dj sammy, armin ban buuren, paul oakenfold, ian van dahl, freezepop, lali puna, magic box, chemical brothers, shiny toy guns, soul sonic force, and pretty much all the ddr tracks...i think there's more, but these days when you download a techno song, they don't tell you the artist

Heya don't u listen to David Guetta or Bob Sinclair...any1 ever heard Calabria ders the mix with Alex Gaudino destination Unknown with Calabria...Cascada and Groove Coverage are quite good too but getting old. then theres Iio-is it love i love that song. I also love "the things you say" of Cicada plus all those Jokerfest mentioned
