If our characters reach Lv. 100 before finish game.....
I have a question and I am so worry. Now I play FF8 disc 2 and I went to Trabia Garden already so I'm traveling all over the place to get item for remodaling weapon and now my Squall 's Level is 92! I doubt that what would be happen if Squall or the others reach Lv. 100, it gonna start Lv.1 again? I wish it wouldn't.

nah, you just stop at level 99, just the same as all the final fantasys.

nope
they stop at level 100.
I got all my character to level 100.
And the game was easy.
You are good scarhead.
I got all of my character at lv.100 at disc 3.
Squall is lv.100 on disc 3 also.

My characters are at Lvl (10 - 15) range till da end of Disc 4. I can't remember wats da maximum lvl for FF8 characters,i tot it was at lvl99.

If you want to level up fast,go to Island closet to hell and heaven.
It's at the Western most and Eastern most of your map.
I go there to level up my character.
You mostly level up at every battle.

On most of the FFs you should be able to find a single spot with a high encounter rate for powerfull foes(FFX and FFXI are the exceptions I know of, FFx because the highest level is 255 sphere-level, which decreases for every sphere step, on the other hand FFVIIs best foe is the midgar zoom, this can be battles overnight using a turbopad, leaving you free to do other-things, like sleep.), simply work out what protection is best, when go there and kill as many as you can as quickly as you can.
if your on FF9 the character to strike the finishing blow gains more EXP, so try to make that your weakest character to even out the EXP.

in ff5 you normally would beat the game in the zone of about 25 levels. through playing over time i have gotten to the 50s but i have heard that the max level (like all the stats) is 255.

I know games where you can go back to level 1 after youve hit 100 but then again on those games you can go up to lvl 1000 if you really want to bother lol I know for definate that you can do that in Disgaea, not sure if the other Nippon Ichi TRPGs are the same tho...
As for max level in FF8 unlike the others it is 100 not 99 so you have to junction Death to your status defence so you dont get wiped by Lv5 Death when you max out your party.. bit of a pain that really.
Also hasnt it always been pretty much 255 max for stats in all FF games? (dunno why 255 tho.. does anyone? lol)

Yea ... I didn't like that about that game ... Aside from the story v.v
Anyways, I made lv 100 with Squall by the end of disc 3, mostly because I was bored and fought everything xD
