i am so confused now XD but here's what i can conclude so far
1. drugs are bad, if you think you can control them then go ahead, but i'd advice you not to, there are concecuences to smoking weed for example, but that's just me XD so uhm....do what you want (in a friendly way)
2. i think none of us are honestly troubled about life in outter space since we haven't had any kind of contact with any alien or w/e...but i guess that if we ever see one in real life, we'd probably pee on the spot XD
3. about being insignificant and such...i think living in such a big place with so many things already developed really puts you off, but i've been living on so far believing i can make a name of myself, all i need to do is work hard to meet my goal...which i won't write here cos it's a bit embarrassing since i'm nothing sort of close to it
anyway...ahm....i was gonna say a lot more, but i think that would best go in "real life advice" or in a book within the lines of "yes you can" or something XD

I respect that you can stay within the topic and the "serious discussion" theme. Me on the other hand I can't restrict myself. I will just say whatever the heck pops into my crazy head and if that confuses or ticks people off then I am sorry. I try to make it not sound TOO stupid. XD

Im pretty content with being an insignificantly small part of the "big picture". anything other than that and it would be a huge burden to bear. I mean... when you get right down to it, we are selfish at birth. we change and grow, but we all want for something, so thats why we get so bent out of shape at the fact that we arent all that important. its rough sure but we can still change things for those around us. i mean... eventually the entire galaxy is going to expand into nothingness and aint no nuttin gonna stop that, so in the biggest picture you can imagine, even the picture doesnt matter (that may or may not make sense). we are in a cycle and thats how it goes. enjoy the ride you are given as best you can and dont sweat the small (big) stuff.
yeah being a small part of the rgat thing is ok ^-^ though we should indeed try to enjoy it right? XD even if you definition of 'enjoy' is planning everyone else's demise *cough*LJnBlackout*cough*

Is it just me or do you all want to travel through space and see stuff? Even if it wasn't life forms or civilizations but just formations of valleys or mountains, supernovas, nebula... to watch the cosmic dance face-to-face so to speak.
If I had a choice of viewing all the universe has in it but not being able to speak to another human or let alone come back to earth, I think I would... I lived alone (metaphorically speaking) for a large part of my life and there isn't anything on earth that would necessarily hold me to it... Besides Final Fantasy! and music lol
If I had a choice though, it would be a mixture of Titan A.E. with Andromeda.

I couldn't take the risk of never being able to talk to another human.
I mean, yes, I too have always been alone. But it was never by choice. I love people and I love to be around people, even though I am horrible at it. People excite me. Their reactions, their thoughts, their everything. There is just something about sentient beings of a human's level of personhood that just really makes me feel warm and at home inside.
Of course that could be entirely reduced down to an evolutionary component because humans are, by nature, social creatures.
Still, I like to romanticize it and say that there is something spiritual about the gathering of people together or just simply talking with another person.
But yeah... I would be right the opposite. If I could see and meet and really get to know people and meet new people all the time as well as keeping in contact with my old firends, but could never go to any new place, I would go with the people thing.

Like the religious debate, I will admit that we are not yet capable of knowing everything and it is our job to help civilization survive until then.
