Plus, I didn't want to end my Post there to wait for your character to just tell me her name, so I just wrote that she answered with her name. "Think someone ate them all?"- Samuel asked out loud
Tatsuya shuddered and looked over his shoulder - "...We're in an abandoned hospital looking for our Philosophy teacher because of some creepy messages, and THAT is what you can come up with to comfort us?"
He brushed his hair off his face with his right, as he curled the tip of the strand of shoulder-length hair with his finger, as he hesitantely pressed the button to call the Elevator down. He licked his upper lip nervously, looking upwards at the Floor Numbers, which seemed to be broken. A bell rang once, and the Elevator door opened. He quickly stepped inside and backed against the wall up front.
"Goin' up?" - he joked nervously, in an attempt to cut his own feeling of foreboding by hearing laughter - "Press B."
As everyone got in, the last person made sure to click the Basement Floor button and the Elevator door closed. It started going down.
"I'm not going to freak out, I'm not going to freak out, I'm not going to freak out..."- Tatsuya repeated to himself
The sound of a gigantic bell sounded through the Elevator pit, the piercing melody making Tatsuya's teeth clash - "Alright, I'm freaking out! Lemme out of here!"
He bashed his way to the Elevator door, sticking his fingers amongst the doors and trying to pry it open. The door-bell rang once more and the Elevator Door opened. They were in the basement.
The sudden image seemed to shock away Tatsuya's sudden Elevator phobia. Two sodadrink-machines stood to his right against the wall. The dim-lit lights on the ceiling little did to enlighten the place, most of the flickering like candles, mixed with the sound of miss-connected wires. He stepped out of the Elevator, stomping away over a few newspapers, the floor was strangely slipery.
"...The hell?"
He kneeled down and picked up a newspaper. He sighed.
"It's dated back to 2007..."
He slowly turned the paper around in his fingers, but let it float back down to the floor as he gazed at his hands. Ryu approached him.
"What's up dude?"
Without a sound, he raised his hands up into the light of the vending machines, showing a large red-liquid stain in both his palms.
"That can be like... a sort of drink that fell over under the papers dude. What're you tryin' to do, early Halloween?" - Ryu teased, looking back with a cocky face at the rest of the group
As Ryu looked back at Tatsuya, his face started filling with obvious terror.
"...Ryu, what is it?"
"...D-Dude, wh-what's up with your eyes?!"
The group ran over and looked into Tatsuya's eyes. There was nothing wrong with them.
"Th-They're...t-turning!"
In Ryu's prespective, Tatsuya's eyes were turning bright red, with a feline iris. He stepped back in fear.
"D-DUDE! WHAT THE F...."
Tatsuya got up and layed his hand on Ryu's shoulder - "What's going on? What're you saying?!"
Ryu slapped Tatsuya's hand off - "Get off! Aaaah!"
Ryu ran inside through the twilight hallway of the basement, only being visible right under the flickering ceiling lamps. The group panicked.
"Oh my God, he just ran in..."
"Let's go!" - Tatsuya suggested, just before he passed his hands on his pants to clean them, and then starting to follow Ryu deeper inside

The clang of the bell reverberating through the elevator seemed to make Samuel's headache even more pronounced. He feared that if anyone looked carefully that they might see his scalp actually move. Tatsuya, on the other hand, seemed to be taking it even worse, and on top of that a profound dread of elevators. A turn of fortune, and the doors opened before Tatsuya's terror could get worse.
Samuel pinched his nose, repulsed by a strange, rust-like stench. He was perplexed at first by what it could be, but an old memory of his childhood popped into consciousness. Learning to ride a bike the first time, falling over, gashing his arm on pavement. The sting of disenfectant and the iron rust stink of bl-
In terror, he backed into the elevator hard. While Tatsuya was examining the newspaper, Samuel quipped, "Doctor's offices with old papers and magazines is nothing new, let's get the hell out of here."
Then Ryu saw something that spooked him, and bolted down the hallway. Shaking, and clinging tight to the elevator's back wall, Samuel was loathe to follow. He called out, "You can grab the idiot if you want, but let's bail after that. I know we are here for the teacher of philosophy, but take my word, not even Pangloss* is dumb enough to be in a place like this."

Kit felt strange as they decended into this deserted building, she thought she could feel a presence... foreboding, almost dareing them "further down and deeper in" it seemed to be saying as she thought out loud... But she shrugged it off. SHe had a tendancey to put things in a higher priority than what was really there... it was probably just the strangeness of the situation, and her emotions playing games with her...
When the door opened it smelled strangely like... a doctors office. she found nothing strange about the rusty musty smell of a deserted basement, besides the fact that it wasn't very well lit, still she saw no reason to be really worked up... untill Samuel started freaking out for some undeterminable reason and started mumbleing something about papers and magazines, and then Ryu screamed.
Kit turned quickly enough to see him looking at Tatsuya as if he were inside out and then running into the darkness. Now Kit knew that there had to be something going on here, Samuel had been reduced to a mumbling puppy in the corner with his tail between his legs and Ryu was aparently seeing things. But she didn't have time to think of this.
She ran to Tatsuya to recruit him to go with her to find Ryu, leaveing samuel behind to cowar away from nothing... "Hey! what happened? Whats wrong with him? should we go after him?" she realized she was asking a lot of questions... but she really needed to know the answers...

Tatsuya ran with all his strength.
"I'm not sure. Something's definately not right."
He stopped and turned around.
"Hey guys c'mon! You'll be left behind!" - he shouted, right before turning around once more and caught up to Kit.
"What's this smell...?" - he said between heavy gasps and breaths as he runs alongside Kit, not looking at her.
But suddenly, it hit him. He stopped.
"Dude, what the hell are..."
He started shouting back, slowly turning his face behind him, when he noticed Samuel and the rest were no longer in sight. Only the darkness of the hallway left behind.
"How f'ucking long is this hallway?" - he cursed, breathing heavily as he layed his hand on the wall to rest.
He looked back at the darkness behind them.
"GUYS!"
No response.
He turned back to Kit.
"Should we...continue?"

Suddenly Kit found herself caught up in a mad dash after Ryu, aparently her and Tatsuya were the only ones chaseing after him... she didn't know what had gotten into the others... but everyone was acting a little weird... slowly as they ran she started to find Tatsuya and herself caught in total darkness... she was impressed that she could even still see tatsuya.
Kit was glad to have someone there with her... not that she was afraid of the dark (rather the contrary) but she still wouldn't have liked to be left alone in this creepy place with everyone acting so strangely. Especially because... her fears were slowly being realized... that smell... there was no mistakeing it now... the smell of blood, she became worried about Ryu, and finally a little frightened herself...
She listenend to Tatsuya say everything she was thinking... and she stood there out of breath and thought about Tatsuya's question... "should we continue?" She decided to say what everyone was thinking... "Well I smell blood..." she paused "I smelt it when we first got down here but I wasn't sure... Now I smell it really strong though... I don't know if we are just getting closer to the origional source... or Ryu could be hurt... and if he is really bleeding that much, he might not have much more time left... Its a risk that Im going to take... I will continue... you should go back and get some more people to come just incase something should happen to me... its no good if we are both lost"
she thought over what she had just said... lost? she probably meant lost down in the basement... yeah... thats what I meant... she thought to herself... but if Ryu did get hurt... then its possible for the same thing to happen to her... but now she was going to be alone... oh well... in her heart she knew she was doing the right thing...

Tatsuya shook his head at Kit's suggestion.
"No way. They're in a group back there. Besides, I'm... afraid of closed spaces and I'm not going to walk back."
A strong heart beat knocked him to his knees.
"...You came." - a voice from the darkness ahead stated
Tatsuya recognised the voice, which led him to open his eyes out widely in concern, and narrow them afterwards in a poor attempt to try to see something ahead.
"...M-Miss Takao?!"
"...Takao?" - the voice answered
Slowly, a white figure came from the dark ahead.
"An...angel...?" - Tatsuya asked himself
"I am no angel."
The silhouette slowly became more clear, showing obvious female traits, revealing to be indeed Miss Takao, glowing as if involved by light.
"Miss Takao!"
Tatsuya trembled from every part of his body. He slowly got up to his feet using the wall and walked to his teacher.
"What... do you mean? Why did you call us?! Why are these things happening?"
"Slow down, young one... You...ah, you all have got all eternity to ask every Question you desire... poor boy."
"What?!"
Her expressionless face turned into a gentle smile directed at Tatsuya. The sound of a bell echoed around Tatsuya and Kit, as with flash, Miss Takao stood right in front of Tatsuya. She slowly placed her hand on Tatsuya's chin, passing her fingers up and down his face, as if comforting him.
Tatsuya felt the chilling touch of her freezing fingers, in a mix of expectation and terror, Tatsuya did not move. His mouth struggled to speak.
"Hush now, poor boy. Words...are unnecessary."
"Maiden!" - a male voice yelled from afar
Another figure appeared from the dark. This once, it was a man dressed in a black tuxedo.
Takao did not look over. She lowered her head as if words were not needed to reply.
The man looked sideways at the woman as if speaking to her. No words were said however, and out of the blue, she let go of Tatsuya's face. Breaking into a cold sweat, Tatsuya passed his hand where Takao had touched him, a freezing cold could still be felt on his chin and left cheek.
The man looked at Tatsuya once again and smiled at him, almost as a father would smile proudly at his own son, and disappeared back into the Darkness. Takao's hair covered her face, she stood lifeless in front of Tatsuya.
Inches away just before he reached Takao, she rose her head in another flash. Red tears were falling down her cheek, her eyes completely white. She let out a piercing scream.
Tatsuya fell down in pain, trying to cover his ears. This was way too much.
"Stop...STOP....STOOOOOOOOOOP!"
Mixing with the scream, Tatsuya could hear a baby's cry. It was the cry of a newborn baby. It pierced Tatsuya's ears just as much as the scream.
"STOP! WHAT'S....GAH!.....HAPPENING?!"
"There is no mercy for the Human kind. They have repeated the same mistakes over...and over...again."

Visions happening throughout history started flowing in Tatsuya's mind. He tried closing his eyes, but the images kept flashing. Small children starving to death, several women being stricken and raped by Soldiers, whole cities being blown to ash with bombs and missiles.
"There is no mercy for the Human kind. There is no good left. Centuries upon centuries of the same disgusting mistakes and they still have not learn."
"AH GOD!" - Tatsuya screamed
"The Great Will is laughable. Your Reasons... You are all 'condemned' to live through the 'Conception'. Poor boy..."
"Stop this!"
"What you are about to undergo... will be worse than Death. The World must first die for it to be born once again. This World is tainted, rotten by the human beings."
The rush of adrenaline with pain made him pace towards Takao, screaming from the painful noises.
"A Pest. This disease must be eradicated from the face of the Earth. You and I Tatsuya... we are exceptions."
"E-Exceptions?"
"As the Maiden, it is my job to 'Conceive'. The 'Conception' will occur - it shall cleanse this World of all Human beings outside of this Hospital. The Underworld will open. My Master has a gift for all of you."
Tatsuya remembered the strange events at the station.
"What?"
"The small Prince has granted you this curse - to survive. Pray to him, be thankful to be condemned to live for all eternity. Consume."
"I don't understand..."
"As the World is reborn from my womb..."
"That's gotta hurt, *!" - Ryu yelled behind Takao, interrupting
He started running towards Takao with a pipe in hand to strike her down - "Shut the f'uck up already!"
With a flash, she turned to face Ryu.
"YOU #%#*!" - Takao spoke, in a language too much complex than any human could ever hope to comprehend
She lifted Ryu up from his throat with what seemed to be no effort at all.
"NO!"
Takao stopped.
"Miss Takao!"
"Names are meaningless. Child of Purgatory, do you feel the hunger?"
"H-Hunger...?"
"It is time." - she interrupted
With another piercing scream, everything went black.

The reek of blood took a toll on Samuel's sanity. His imagination went wild with images of sadistic rites and cruel experiments. Behind his eyes, the imagery began to take on a life of its own. Overseeing these brutal acts was a sharp dressed man, the man turned to face him Samuel. Then his vision blurred, and the blood vessels pounded within.
His sight was entirely red, like blood. All about him was the sound of meat tearing and jaws snapping. A hand over his heart alerted him and a sultry voice beckoned, "Rend, slaughter, devour your enemies. You cannot escape your hunger, Warrior of Purgatory." Samuel's body twisted and contorted, the felt as though being ripped apart from the inside. His vision cleared, and he could faintly see a woman with a viel that concealed most of her face, save for a pair of lovely lips. He caught a glimpse of blonde hair in his peripheral vision.
The figures vanished and a voice rang in his head, chanting over and over, "Aum Mani Padme Hm!"
Then...
The monsters...
His vision blurred again, and his body became numb. An inhuman growl seemed to escape him, and his body seemed to move on it's own. This waking dream intensified as the distance between himself and the monsters closed. These ghouls were torn apart by blades, and the once sickening sight of blood excited him. It was over before it began, the demons lay at his feet dead, and a pool of blood gathered.
In this strange waking dream, Samuel looked to the pool at his feet. The image that greeted him seemed far more twisted than the demons at his feet. The chant subsided, and a childish voice called out, "Who you really are within is far more honest. Go, to the land of turmoil and strife, and conquer Chaos."
Samuel blacked out, and he awoke in a bathroom. He scanned his surroundings, then realized it was the women's bathroom. He bolted to his feet and prepared to run. Then he caught his own reflection, his hair changed into an odd silver color, as did his clothes. He tore at them, and on his chest was a bizarre symbol. Samuel took a step back, then a voice echoed, "Varna."

Tatsuya looked like he was aboutto answer her... nut then he just stared off into the darkness... and kep repeating "Miss Takao? Miss Takao?" and then suddenly he simply vanished! like a mirraged he simply faded away into the blackness... or more, became the blackness! (I figured that would make sense since in "the prophecy" only the man and the maiden would be present) Now she was totally alone in a darkness that prohibited her from even seeing her own hand in front of her! it was absolutely calm... and completely quiet... "Just like the deep breath before the plunge" she thought outloud...
She was shakeing all over, terrified... she had never seen anyone simply dissappear from the physical world before! Just when she worked up the courage to stand and think about moveing forward (which seemed like the only thing to do at a moment like this) sudden't the ground moved... not like an earthquake... but as if... some massive being were moveing undernieth her. and then everything began to shake, the air was suddenly filled with the screams of all the people outside the hospital and the darkness was replaced by a sikining blood red light!
The screams grew louder and more horrible! she could think of nothing else! she could hear nothing else! It was spitting her head open and cruching her heart all in one blow! SHe could hear the sounds of Men screaming in terror, and woman clutching their children... but the screams of the children... they rang loudest in her heart, she couldn't help it! she began to scream herself! "STOP! STOP IT! MAKE IT STOP!" she screamed from pain, her heart was torn out and her spirit shattered! she was crying red tears which she atributed to the lighting and her thoughts were fogged by the suffering of the world and all living things within it perishing.
[Edit=add in](<---idk actually lol) Suddenly she heard a mysterious voice "do you hear them? do you hear their screams?" Kit was in no shape to answer the question... but the voice seemed calm, as if understanding her pain... Maybe they wern't all dead? the voice continued "I hear it... I always hear their suffering... I give them a place to stay... to feel safe... to feel... needed" Kit was trembleing and crying at the same time "What do you want from me?" The voice replied calmly "You... I want you... you will be the vessel and I will be the message." Kit didn't understand... and she was crying too hard to think strait. but the voice continued as if she knew "I will grant you power, you will be able to call on my aid at any time in this chaotic world to come... in the vortex world, and I will be your sword, and your reason will be your shield." Kit was confused... was she going to live in this hell? She wanted nothing more than to be dead herself and she thought so "I know" the voice continued "I once wanted to die as well, but each of us has a reason to continue on... you must find your reason, all I want is to help you." Kit had no idea how this woman planned on helping her... but she gave in... nothing else made sense, so trying to use logic just seemed not to fit. She nodded as her tears continued to fall and the voice exclaimed "Excelent! from now on, you are a persona user!" this was followed by a wicked laugh! Kit looked up in time to see the Alice standing in front of her and holding out her hand, Kit took it and instantly Alice began to laugh wickedly and wildly as her body began to rot away! Kit screamed and tried to let go but the burning vice grip refused her and crushed her hand all the more! Kit screamed as the pieces of Alice began to absorb into her with a burning like hell fire! When it was all over... she was left holding some kind of small device in her hand. [/Edit]
and then, suddenly ... there was nothing.... she couldn't stop, she was trembleing and crying and holding herself... she looked up briefly and could see Tatsuya again... but she couldn't be happy... she couldn't be relieved... she felt nothing but pain and suffering...

Ricky Joey looked around in what was a sudden darkness. The blackness, the darkness, it felt as if it had a form of its own; as if it was a living entity of iitself. Through the darkness he somehow saw two entities. Though no light came in, these entities became more and more clear and visible. It appeared there was a twisted and contorted figure with horns on its head and sharp horrible teeth standing over a small child, about to eat him. The child cried out," What will you do? Will you let him kill me? Will you let me die?" The demonic figure cried out," Feed me this insignifigant child and I shall spare your life." Instantly Rick's fears of demons of old came to mind. His nightmares, his terrors. He even remembered a time when he was sure he saw a demon outside of his window, staring at him. This thing looked exactly like he had imagined in the window that day in his childhood. He took a step back in fear. A voice permiated the area, familiar, but he could not tell whether it was the child, the demon, or a different entity. It said,"You must choose. Will you protect the innocent, or will you protect only yourself? Are you the one who I will dwell within? Or would you rather kill the innocent and survive. Whatever you do, do something!" Slowly at first, Rick Joey walked towards the child, then it became a jog, then a run, then a sprint. He looked at the child, then faced the demon and held out his arms. "I won't let this happen!", exclaimed Rick Joey, fully accepting his supposed fate, his supposed death. Then an amazing thing happened. In unison the child and demon said, "Very good." They became some sort of spiritual mist or something and combined together to form what appeared an entity wearing armor and with white wings, holding a sword. "I am Michael, and you shall be my conduit, my vessal. You and I are similar, if not the same in our hearts, we must be bold and stand against tyranny to give mercy to the weak and fallen. You will receive a gift indeed, because I will give you the strength you need to preform the desire of your heart: Mercy and defense by the sword."
Rick was excited and yet still frightened,"I will do it! I accept! I must help those who are in need!"
"Be aware, the fires of your power will be painful to accept. The mercy is strong and difficult to withstand",said Michael.
Then Rick Joey felt the intense burning the pain so great he could not think of anything but one word: Mercy. It burned and burned, until finally it stopped. He had something in his hand now, but he didn't notice that too much, he was busy singing praises.
(OOC: I am not sure this is a good enough trial, I will re-write it if need be.)

While those in the hospital faced their trials, the sky took an unnatural color. In fact, the entire city seemed to be comprised of a luminous darkness. The earth trembled, gravity becoming nonsense as the ground seemed to be peeled away from the mother sphere. Lighting arced, laying waste and leaving a dark void where it struck. Great buildings shook, many crumbled as the ground pulled further away from the planet.
Then, a great and forboding light, the Kagutsuchi, shone brightly in the air. The land seemed to turn inward, as though creating a protective shell for the Kagutsuchi. Watching from the rooftop of the hospital was an elderly gentleman seated in a wheelchair.
