First of all, I'd like to say I'm not the Master RolePlayer, but I've Roleplayed for a few years now and I will carefully handpick the members. Also, I enjoy using Pictures to describe an Appearence as opposed to describing in detail. I save my detail Posts for the RP itself. Being a RP with high mythological, post-apocalyptic and religious concepts, I hereby Brand this RP as RATED-M, for Mature.
The ideals, thoughts, images and contents are entirely fictional and should not be related to the RolePlayers in question.
I apologise in Advance for the need to Multi-Post, but the Character-Restriction on this Forum is thoroughly annoying for RolePlayers (xD).
The terms and concepts can be confusing for people who are new to Post-Apocalyptic RolePlays, so if you do not know about something or are unsure about a certain aspect of the story, feel free to PM me or to post your Question here.
This Thread is entirely dedicated to Registrations and the actual RolePlay will be Posted seperately to prevent confusion.
Background
The game will be set in Japan, more precisely in the Tokyo area, year 2015.
A young boy of the name Tatsuya recieves a strange SMS from his Highschool Philosophy Teacher to meet with her near the Giant Screen in the center plaza of Shinjuku, also requesting the young man to bring his friends.

Message: Tell me your name. Come to me, tell me your name. It is already too late. The threads of fate have began to spin. This World is bound to it's futility. Meet me near the Giant Screen in central Shinjuku in two hours. Hours...? Another meaningless invention. Bring whoever you see fit, but do not come alone. Such as what is about to happen should never be experienced alone. You. Poor child who is doomed to live, come, and tell me your name.
Concerned, Tatsuya gathered some of the classmates closest to him and took the train to Shinjuku, carrying nothing else than what they had on their backs before the Lunch Break. Little did they know this was going to be the longest Lunch Break of their lives. Unaware of what the future holds, the young man and his entourage sought to search for their beloved teacher after the strange text message, as a darker plan starts to unfold.
Hito-Shura/Demi-Fiend - A human cursed by Lucifer to become a hybrid of a human and a demon, by forcefully ingesting the source of Demonic Power - the Magatama (strange insect like creatures). The Magatama grant different powers upon Ingestion, but the Demi-Fiend him/herself can fight alone without using their powers. Unable to wield weapons, the Demi-Fiend fights physically at close-range. Magatama are ethereal, and can only be killed through the use of Magic.
Appearence: Hito-Shura still keeps his anthropomorphology, but is now covered in markings that represent his Demonic Power. The tattoo-like signs on their body run through every inch of the same. Body mass increases slighty. Once a human becomes a Demi-Fiend, he can NEVER turn back to his human form. But ultimately, it is his choice to retain (or not) his psychological/mental human side.
Avatar Tuner - Being hit by "The Light", a human will be possessed by Atma. The Atma will grant the human an inner Demon, driven by hunger. This demon can be used at any given time, by touching a specific mark on the Human's body. The Human will then mutate into the Demon in question. The Demon (called Avatar, or Devil) is fully controlled by the Human who mutates to it EXCEPT for the first time. It's primary need is to feed on Magnetite - energy - of which other Demons are fully comprised of. To this end, the Human must calm his Devil by effectively feeding on the defeated opponent. The Tuner in human form can not fight unless in Berserk, which is a hybrid of both forms of the Avatar Tuner.
Appearence - Two forms are present. The Avatar Tuners are cursed with a strange hair colour (it can never be black, blonde, ginger or any other regular colour, usually it reflects their demon's Element). There's always an Atma Mark in a random part of their body. The Human form is cursed into a battle suit that can not be removed for the sake of mental health, as it restrains the Demon from constant Hunger outbursts. The Berserk form is an hybrid of the Human and Demon form. The skin darkens and the eyes glow, as the Attacking Body Part of the Devil is mutated onto the Human Form to gore with. (i.e. if the Devil possesses Blade Arms, then the Human's Arm will have blades)
Raidou Kuzunoha - A long line of warriors. A human performs a Ritual that grants him/her the Devil Sword, a Katana capable of absorbing it's foes' attributes to strengthen itself. Effectively losing their true identity, the clan's name will then be passed onto the warrior, being now called Raidou Kuzunoha. This warrior's main goal is to serve humanity by investigating Demon-related Incidents. Always followed by a cat, called Gouto. Gouto has served every member of the Kuzunoha clan, effectively knowing in depth most of the Demons Raidou is to face. Not being able to fight for itself, Gouto serves as a Guide. He can speak, but his words are only heard by Raidou. Raidou also uses "Demon Tubes", which, by forceful aplication to a Demon's forehead, can capture a Demon to be summoned later at will, to a maximum storage of 6 Demons. Only one Raidou Kuzunoha can exist at one time.
Appearence - After the Ritual, the human is granted five items. The Devil Sword, the Demon Tubes, the Cape, the Hat and the Gun. Being so, Raidou must wear these items. The long black cape, covering both front and back, go down to his knees, and possesses two small pockets in each side. The cap, resembling a black Police cap, usually is worn almost over Raidou's eyes. His appearence does not stray from a normal human's Appearence whatsoever. His cat, Gouto, is a regular everday Cat, with the exception of possessing gray eyes, a Demon-Form collar and a white ear.
Persona User - A Human who was born with "The Potential". Using an Artificial Brainwave-Enhancer called "Evoker" (which is shaped like a handgun), the user must point the object at his head and pull the trigger. It does not shoot bullets. Doing so will allow the Persona User to call upon a Persona - a distinct expression of their personality in the form of a Demon. The Persona User alone can wield any form of weapon, and can hold their own in a battle, but their Persona grants them the power to cast Spells and stronger physical skills. Amongst Persona Users, one can obtain The Wild Card, which can only be described as an ethereal item that allows the Persona User to shape their personality, effectively being able to hold and utilise multiple Personae.
Appearence - The Persona User's appearence does not stray at all from the normal Human form. The Personae are usually Anthropomorphic and will represent, even if in the slightest detail, the actual appearence of their User.
Demon - Can take any shape, size, gender and ability. Their appearence does not have a binding concept, they can appear to be as tame and as harmless, as they can look dangerous and beastial. Their names are based on religious, cultural or mythological entities, such as "Efreet", "Cu Chullain", "Melchizedek", "Succubus", "Ananta", and so on and so forth.
NOTE - They do not always apear Anthropomorphic. They can take various shapes as mentioned earlier. They are seperate beings with personalities of their own. Being so, not all Demons are violent, and some are, in fact, quite tame as they go about their daily lives of searching for Magatsuhi or their own personal agendas.
Avatars - Cursed beings that can only survive through consumption of Magnetite, the same of which Demons, and themselves are fully made of. They can not survive outside of a Host - an Avatar Tuner. They are always named after a mythological entity/creature (i.e. Hindu Mythology). They are always Anthropomorphic, even though their bodies are usually quite distorted.
Persona - Aspects of a human's personality, strengthened ONLY through the development of emotional bonds to those who surround the User. They take forms and shapes varied, and are always named after a Myth. (i.e. Greek Mythology). They are ALL physically represented as an apocalyptic version of their original Myth's name, AFTER their tragic demise in Mythology (most that did not possess a tragic demise are not featured)
Magatsuhi - Life energy of which Regular Demons feed off. It can be found in Human DNA, Magatsuhi Springs, or in some cases in certain Demons. Certain Devils find it disgusting and can smell it from a distance.
Conception - The Conception is a Ritual performed through the use of magic binded to a scroll called Scripture of Miroku. In the same scroll two people are profesised to be present, the man who will end the world, and The Maiden. After the Conception has occured, the World will end. Consequently, every human being not in the vicinity of the Ritual (accurately the same building), will cease to exist. A star will be born over Tokyo, proceeding to, mysteriously, turn Earth inside out, quite literally, consequently having the remainder of the Human species live in the inside as opposed to on the surface. This new world is refered to as Vortex World. Demons will now roam the Vortex World. This ritual is with the sole purpose to Reset the World for all it's mistakes.
"The World must first die for it to be born again."
Reason - As the name implies, one's Reason to be alive in the Vortex World. Being a World devoid of future, the strongest inhabitants are asked to pursue their Reason, in order to shape the new World accordingly to their beliefs and ideals.

Avatar's Appearence -
Kagutsuchi, the god of Fire in Japanese Mythology - A headless distorted red being, dressed with an incredibly intricate suit of armour, with a blade on the tip of it's tail, as it spread two large wings that appeared to have been burned, showing some bone in their tips. It can remove it's arms from under it's long sleeves, revealing mechanical, claw-like hands.
Background Story - Born and raised in Japan. Tatsuya excels in Philosophy class, but requires an extra effort otherwise. He lives happily with both his parents in a small peaceful neighbourhood just outside of Ikebukuro. Struggling all his life to have lived up to their parent's expectations of him, he strives to be the best in school, often trying too hard.
Personality - Sensitive and emotional to a fault, he tends to rationalise actions and happenings thoroughly through his own feelings. He can be found depressing over various aspects of life that he can not comprehend. In the past, he would be refered to as "Emo", a famous designating term in the early 21st century refering to over-emotional youngsters. He converses with women a lot easier than with men. He is sensible, but tends to stand up to protect his friends. His idealism of a Hero implies sacrifice.
Reason - "For one to achieve purity, one must first rid oneself of their guilt. Only then can the purified soul ascend to Nirvana."

Persona Background -
Erebus - In Greek mythology, Erebus (English translation: "deep blackness/darkness or shadow") was the son of a primordial god, Chaos, and represented the personification of darkness and shadow, which filled in all the corners and crannies of the world. He was the offspring of Chaos(first thing in existence) alone(no other parent).
Persona Appearance -
Take the body & build from the one picture (fingers shorter) and add to it the facial covering and clothes (basically body wrappings and little trinkets and bobbles) from the other. The face is only half covered by the facial wrappings leaving the mouth in view(reptilian teeth; sharp and numerous). The tattoos are a different thing, the more the tattoos cover the more "berserk" and uncontrollable the Persona is. So while only the hands and face are covered it is normal.
Background Story -
Belial Houston is the result of having a Japanese mother and a Canadian father of African ancestry. Being raised in Canada, they moved around a lot until finally deciding to live in Japan. With all the traveling Belial is 3 years behind his fellow classmates hence him being 21 and still in high school.
Personality -
Even though he is behind in studies he is in no way a stupid person, quite the contrary. Quite bright his downside is that things that do not hold his curiosity do not hold his attention and so his marks are lower(C's and mid B's) than what they could be (B+'s and A's).
Even though he is older than most of his classmates he tries to get along with them and actually prefers to hang around with them more than people his own age. Extremely shy, most of the time is very quiet and reserved, unless he likes the person or considers them a friend.
His stature, do to his dad's genes, makes him quite large for a person in Japan. Also during everyday life he gets taunted and teased because in essence he is a gaijin and gets racial slurs thrown at him because he half-black as well. Instead of lashing out at these people he bottles his anger and swallows his pride.
Reason - "Anchored within is a bottomless well full of hate, anger, and darkness. Only be releasing it will peace finally be achievable."

It sounds like you got some of this of the games (^_^) I haven't played PErsona yet but I was on the 1st one. While I would love to play this, I am on too little to and I found some of the character choices confusing (well not the Avatar Tuner path)....
I love writing in long posts and usually have to cut back because of them... Hmm... no black hair huh we what about void coloured hair, like hair that absorbes all light and is absolute black without and shine, but with absolute depth?
Jet black hair? I fail to find the purpose if it's just another shade of Black, but if you prefer then I can allow it.
The concepts were based on the games series, as I am a hardcore MegaTen gamer. I've played the three latest Persona games. (Persona 3, Persona 3FES, and Persona 4)
What sort of choices do you find confusing? I will explain in depth.
Also, I don't comprehend what you mean by "too little", but as long as you are aware of things, there is no age restriction. (some Mature content will be present however)

Well I am on Funender too little to participate fully in an RP.
Other than a darker blood red or a royal purple, black hair (while normal for Japanese people) is abnormal for most other people. I'm currently playing Shin Megami... Digital Devil Saga 1 (I forgot what the last word was in the romanji)
I just didn't read the descriptions too well (I tend to read too quickly sometimes and my mind has trouble processing)
And I am what some may call a noob at RP(I've only done one and not for too long) but I love using imaginative words and creative sentences that are mentally pleasing (metaphors and similes and whatnot).

It's Shin Megami Tensei. Digital Devil Saga is incredibly addicting. I'll spoil something out for you, if you don't like spoilers, scroll over.
The main character for Shin Megami Tensei - Nocturne? You can fight him as a secret Boss.
Anyway, don't worry. I skim through sentenses a lot. When you reach a certain level of Roleplaying, and a certain level of trust with those who you Roleplay with, you obtain the ability to eaisly predict their choices, and skimming through the Posts often help keeping a High-Level Roleplay up in a steady pace, and still be comprised of considerably large posts.
Eitherway, if I like your Roleplaying skills, to me, it doesn't matter if you're new or not.

Are we restricted to playing Avatar Tuners only? Are we restricted to a "good or evil" Reason?
Not at all. MY choice is Avatar Tuner, but all of the "Paths" above can be choosen from, obviously also include the Avatar Tuner choice.
A Reason does not fit into either of the ideals of "Good" or "Evil". A "Reason" is a point of view, and should only be viewed as such. Every Human will now be gone, except for those who will be involved (ie. us, the Roleplayers, who will play Studens). Values such as "Good and Evil" aren't present anymore due to a lack of social standards. Most Demons don't believe in "Good and Evil".

Michael, An Arch-angel in the Christian religion. - Powerful and bold angel, usually engulfed in light, wears shining armor and holds a sword in hand to defend God's creations.
Background Story - Raised in America, moved to Japan. Rick Joey has a passion for Psychology; the human mind and how it works are extremely interesting to Rick Joey. Naturally, as psycology has roots in philosiphy, Rick Joey is intersted in it as well, but not enough to actually take philosiphy classes. He is good in all his classes getting B+'s and A-'s. He could do better, but he doesn't really care too much for the letter grade, it is the knowledge he is after. He stays in an appartment around Ikebukuro alone (I can change this if you think that I am copying you too much, Riku, but I don't know places in Japan >.<).
Personality - Rick Joey is a kind person who seeks to help others in any and all ways possible, mentally, or otherwise, Rick Joey loves to be there for people. He loves his emotions, but enjoys them in an odd way, instead of expressing them, he goes deeply into his mind and basks in them, this can make him seem unfeeling in terms of all emotions except for love, which is the only emotion he expresses outward besides his happiness. He cares for others a great deal, but as for himself, he could hardly care less. He could easily take insult after insult without caring enough to stand up for himself.

Endnekind, so far Accept though I must ask you to change two things. One of them is your character's human appearence, as his clothing style does not seem human. The only concept allowed to possess special clothing are the Avatar Tuners for reasons explained above.
The other is the name. I can't really see someone in America being caled G'a Lo Ve, no matter how beautiful the name actually sounds.
Well, that's all. Everything else is accepted.
About your character's Background Story, don't worry. It would seem only natural that our characters all live around the same areas as we're in the same schoo, and the same Class.

I edited it. I had to use a picture that made him look completely different. In order to say that he changed his mane to that, I had to ask myself if there was anyone who would be crazy enough to change their name to that, and when I realized that I was within that level of crazy I realized that it was plausible.
