okay... double post but this is a questions.
the DMW. its totally random right? i feel like i should be doing something but i cant. and the DMW is the only way things level and its random? i totally dont get it. and my copy didnt come with an instruction booklet sooo.... yeah.
and the in game tutorials didnt really tell me much.

i believe it's random, and yes, that's the way you level up. when there are three 7's you gian a level...i don't know if you can do anything to control the numbers, sorry

You know I really don't like the whole DMW thing. It all seems pre-determined, like the big T-Rex said lol. When you are fighting a tough battle you will always hit the numbers you need, but never when fighting a random battle.
So it defeats the purpose of having the reels etc.

Certain items increase the chance of leveling of the DWM... If you put on this item that curses you (you get experience but never level up) for like the whole game and the take it off, you can level up 93 times in one battle (depending on the length of battle)

The game itself... I just watched some videos last night about this... didn't know it was the prequel to FF7... very disappointed I have not had the opportunity to play this... Is it only on PSP?
