I need Help
im fighting Demon Gate and i really need help i keep getting my rear handed to me it just isn't goin good all my characters are at level 31-33 and i cant beat him i really need some advice

hmm yeah i agree with kline, you're kinda low-leveled...when i fought demon gate cloud was level 45 or so...so yeah, go around and level up ^^ if not...hmm if you have aerith's limit 4 then it's easy, you can use it and it'll give you time to lower the gate's HP...and the only summon which can really do some damage is bahamut ^^; so stick to physical attacks, limits and keeping your characters' HP up ^_~

Also, move all your people to the back row. I beat Demon Gate at around level 29 but on my second try, because the first I kept having people die because they took too much damage. It's more important to keep your party alive than to deal more damage because every bit of survival is necessary against this attack beast.
It was one of two bosses I actually enjoyed fighting in the game. :/

in that case it'd be good if you have two long range materias and barret or yuffie in your party ^^ since they can attack from the back row without weakening their attack

but only know of one 'long range' that you can get at that point... barrier and mbarrier are your miracle in this battle, and most useful when paired with your best 'all' because you'll probably end up using it more than once. It was always a mad fight to the finish for me... but dont be shy about using a megalixir or two, and experiment with the random stuff you get out of battles to see what does the most damage. and, unfortunately, demi doesnt work, and neither does heal (on it), though you'd think something that lives in a wall and is made of bones would...

well yeah you're right :/ and it'd be kinda difficult to master it and get a second one on the first disc...if you have enemy skill big guard you're saved ^^ and also if you have regen magic ^^

but again, thats unlikely, as I think I only got regen after clouds 'issues' and i think big guard makes barrier, mbarrier... what other things? i know its more than just wall... anyway, its 64 mp to use, and at that point in the game thats fairly expensive...
eh, just keep going for it, and you should beat this one eventually. its definitely one of the harder ones.

really? i got big guard after the "incident" at gold saucer, and it's barrier, m-barrier and haste...regen is easy to get by that point to ^^

is it? i think i realllly underlvled for this game... I ws about 28 at this pint too... can still remember you manipulate somethingplugs to get big guard, on the beach...
eh, at that point i dont think you can leave the temple, though. you get to see cloud on drugs after you beat it, though
