I was just looking at Smash Bros. Dojo and ROB looks better than I thought they would be. I still think I'll use Ike, Marth, Kirby, Metaknight, and Link the most though. I'll probably try out some of the new characters though. Mainly Wolf, ROB, Pitt, and King Dedede.

I don't think I'll really use him that much, although he seems to be a fairly interesting character. The sort you need to get good with to make them really effective.

just had a hands on with the game last night and I must say that I'm a little disapointed. Most of the stages are the exact same from melee, the combat system hasn't changed much, the fighting abilities are too varied, and most of the "announced characters" need to be unlocked. Why offer a character and then pull it away and say "earn it"? The game is merely Melee with updates. that's it.

And an advanced story mode. Anyway, if you kept in track of the announcements you'd know that a lot of the stages were similar to ones in Melee, including some which were actually in Melee. The combat system wouldn't have changed that much anyway. It is a fighting game. If you look at Soulcalibur the fighting system has stayed pretty much the same since Soulblade. It's generally considered a winning technique in fighting games.

What pisses me off about Nintendo is that it's "online capabilities" are all Wi-fi based. Effing friend codes too.  So online Brawl for me is disappointing.

i mean yes. the firends code thing is ridiculous, but you can do a random battle with someone online.
and it is pretty weird that you cant hook up the wii to an ethernet cable at all. its only got wi-fi. i mean... its a blessing once you have wifi but otherwise... ridiculous.
