a little update. ive only been playing here and there but im 6 and a half hours on the dot for gameplay and im now putting in disc 2. im not sure how that compaires to my old times. cant remember.
edit: ugh. took over an hour to get out of that stuuuupid prison. easily my most hated part of ff8. thank goodness its over.

just a little update. yes techn ically i got the garden moving but i forgot about the whole "not having control" issue so yeah. now i have control and im at like 11 something hours. ughhhh. i didnt wanna blast through all the text so yeah.

and regardling enc-none.... its so hard to play the game without random battles. because then you get to a certain point and you need to level up to progress. so yeah... here and there you can cut down time by using it. youd be better off just keeping enc-half on all the time prolly.

I think the main strategy for winning this race is the enc-none, one can play the low level method and just play a few card games to get all the strong spells to junction. Or the easier way is drawing from bosses.
Thats what I think though, the 1st step is to cut the time wasted for random battles. Squall's Twin Blade customization should be far more than enough till Ultimecia. (who needs Lionheart limit)
I'm kinda curious but what strategies are you guys using for this race? Eh lol, might not be appropriate for you guys to tell out the strategies but..
