FFIX Pet Peeves...
...It has come to my attention (almost constantly) the very annoying parts for FF9 that just skyrockets your stress level ...
here I list some that you might agree with:
1.)...level 60 Grand dragons within hand's reach of disk one...ha ha, very funny Square Enix
2.)...The ability that ejects the caracter from the battle perminantly...
3.)...not having any abilities to guard from berzerk or zombie...
4.)...The fact that you gain only 1hp/level on most of the high levels...
5.)...the enemy skill 'Roullette'...
6.)...basicly anything that inflicts you with virus when you're not level 99...
7.)...The fact that it takes so long just to start a battle: we dont care about background scanning!
...That's about it...you can name the rest if you have anything different...

...it's not a late reply if it's the first...
...an individual may find that several games warn them about a certain area, but they still must proceed, I just cant believe squaresoft would bother to put that area there...
...though I'm comming up with a new way to play FF9: The level Zidane, Vivi, Freya, and Quina to 70+ by the end of the first disk...It takes almost forever, but when you get Beatrix, she will be insanely powerful and it actually benifits the other characters: Amarant and Eiko on levels as well...

Well for me the most annoying thing was in fact that the battles took like 10 minutes and when you are in the middle of a timed thing with a disk that tends to freeze everything but the friggin clock it does get really annoying but i would say the gathering zodiac, chocobo digging, frog catching, and getting Ramuh were so friggin annoying and the fact that Beatrix wasn't a playable character.

For all those men who say "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free". Here's an update for you 80% of women are against marriage, why? Because women realize its not worth buying an entire pig, just to get a little sausage...and if you're among those 80% add this to your sig. |

I think you get it on disc 4 if you reach Memoria in less than 12 hours of gameplay or something like that... Not like I managed to do it anyway
As for me, I hate the battle intros too, I get in a bad mood with every fight

Yeah, it is, I heard there´s a way to 'freeze' the game clock while in cutscenes (which probably last longer than 12 hours in total, up to that point)
I like my normal Excalibur anyway.

I fought them on an Island actually while trying to build can't remember how I got on the island though or if it was even in this game.

...it's the closest chocobo footprint area around the lagoon, you should hope that the battle doesn't happen...

...excalibur II is usless when training on yans since it is holy elemental so I just stick with ragnarok+(skill)Darkside=9999 damage...
