i agree, load of bull...though im not a big fan of the world...maybe its end would be for the best....then we'll all get to see what happens afterwards, and see whether all this good/bad stuff really didnt matter at all.

I am not sure about an exact date but it seems like everyday things are getting worse. Costs are rising, pay is decreasing, people are getting angry, the government is more corrupt, weather is getting harsher, writer strikes causing cities to lose millions, etc. Everyone just sits back and says it will get better but it will not if people remain careless. The high gas prices really effect us all and the recession scare for this year may be a reality. I believe that too many people are too concerned with buying iPods, new cell phones, and Wiis and are not even aware of the world destroying itself.
Please forgive me if I am wrong since I am not an expert in politics, but I have always wondered why the US government has to police the whole world? I would understand if all Americans had a perfect life with barely no crime and beautiful peaceful neighborhoods. I think we should worry about our problems instead of starting wars in other countries. I wouldn't be surprised if all of the terror threats and attacks would stop if we just worked on bettering America instead of supplying weapons to people in other countries. I know that it is a business to make money from wars but surely the US can live off of the income generated from other things.

the last part is something i wondered too, why people mess with other country's problems instead of making a utopia of their own...
apparently the debts of the usa were increased a lot since the war in iraq and afghanistan, and if i'm correct, terrorists wouldn't even have a reason to attack you if your country lives in harmony with others...
and the fact you think that way proves one thing
you would indeed make a good president XD

Look the world will end eventually but probably not in our lifetimes. According to Nostradamus there will be two other world wars before the end of man but the exact words or I believe "I know not how World War three shall be fought but World War Four will be fought with sticks and stones" He also talked the Middle Eastern countries joining together under the rule of a man whose symbol is a blue turbin.

What i beleive this means is...
Clearly we are on our way to world war three, and if its a "World" war, then there will be nuclear warfare,its inevitable, and if there is another nuclear war, i assume we will reach another Ice Age! the debris and dust etc will block out the sun creating another ice age causeing near extinction and thus causing us to revert to the stone age!

Anyone can predict their own death if they believe enough in it. It's a small part in the unconcious mind that makes you do this. there was a story about how a three ladies were born on friday the thirteenth and were "hexed" to where they would die on their 23 birthday. The first two died the day before their 23 birthday by self inflicted damage, proving their part in the "hex". the third woman checked herself into the hospital a week before her 23 birthday, and eventually hyper- ventilated herself to death.
Again, all I'm saying is that anybody can predict in their death if they believe in it enough, and that his claims should not be trusted.
The world will not end from global warming in 2012. there would have to be an extreme amount of heat focused on the northern ice cap to melt the glaciers and ice. I'm not saying that it couldn't happen, but it won't happen for another twenty or so years. The thing about it is that it will not be caused by us, but by nature itself. The Ice age was caused by nature those millions of years ago, because of the melting of the ice caps. The greenhouse gasses we put out help a little, but only by about 7%.

i believe gary is on the right track though
in the current state there has to be only 1 wrong person in the wrong place of the wrong government and things will escalate to nuclear war
i'm almost waiting for a civil war in holland because of some people in politics, and i believe it's about the same all over the world
i can't imagine what would happen if every man in china will be forced to carry a weapon and get in duty to attack
or terrorists getting their hands on a nuclear bomb made by north korea
the usa not getting what they want (oil) and invade another country...
the scariest thought of all is knowing there are enough bombs to blow this planet up at least 3 times...

Actually after the cold war there were nukes to destroy this planet over 100 times at least that has almost doubled now

Actually, it's the exact opposite. The US and Russia have been doing mass disarmings of their nuclear stockpiles because of the UN's policy on NW.

right, I didn't say that they would go away, just that they are being disarmed. They are easy to build, yes, but the ones that have been disarmed had their cores taken out, thus diasabling the nuke.
With the UN in (trying to) charge, They are banning all unannounced NW manufacturing. That's why everyone flipped out about North Korea a few months ago.
