only in hardware, not software. but now's not the time for that. If it is indeed the red ring of death (three red lights flashing) then the microsoft warrenty should cover it nomatter what. just contact microsoft and tell them the situation. they will ask for your mailing address and will send you a pre- paid shipping box. just put your system in there and mail it off not that hard.
but, if you don't want to wait a month, there are some other ways.... PM me if you want to know. some break the warrenty and some don't, but they're a secret
