but thats not the point were on about sephiroth not the others because sephiroth is slightly harder to place with his orchestra theme tune but gothic appearence

It is orchaestral rock. He wants to destroy earth ironically not the hard way, he wants to destroy the planet by using Meteor and watches the trembling weak humans running for their lives.
So its definitely not Heavy Metal, how can you enjoy watching people to suffer while full-filling your mother's dream with Heavy Metal? It got to be orchaestral rock, he's enjoying destruction ain't he? Its like:
Sephiroth: Mother, we will finally claim this land over the foolish humans...(enjoys the destruction)
