Rumble on the ice at Disc 2 , when your party has boarded the Galbadian Garden, you will eventually stumble upon an ice hockey rink.. The foes here are semi - human icehockey players. They come in packs of 3 , 4 or 5 players and has some strong attacks. But your strongest GF's will kill them with one hit (if not, then you're not strong enough to obtain GF Cerberus which is located at this facility, and believe me, you'll WANT to get it.).Thus, spreading damages such as Flame Shot,Scatter Shot,Blasting Zone, Angelo cannon, etc are good choice for killing em' all with ease and fast. These guys doesn't have much HP but since they're so many, you'll get lots of EXP. Now, you can get from 400 - 900 EXP depending on how many players you've meet. And since it ALWAYS takes 1000 exp to level up, you could get up to 100 with the three characters if you stay there for a few hours. There are two screens in which you encounter these monsters, so while defeating one pack of them in one screen, switch screen for a more sucessfull encounter rate.
- Adapted from squallpayne's FF8 Walkthrough.
Hope that helps, anyway for future reference...the best place to level up is in Disc 3 (Island closest to hell & Island closest to heaven). There're a few tricks for easy levelling up, like Quistis' degenarator limit, using Tonberry's Lvl down, etc.
