M8, GF stands for Guardian Force... and FF8 having a movie, lol thats what i thought first when i played the game. FF8 is a good story for a FF movie.

I just started playing ff7 again a couple of days ago and I forgot how pixelated the graphics were, at least while you're running around fighting, but the story.. ahh the story.. it is definitely what made ff explode into american mainstream. it was just too bad that they ruined the series with ffiX. That game was horrible. And yes I played ff3, I've played them all as soon as they came out. And I've beat them all, and I would have to say that I enjoyed ff7 more than most of the others.

Well i love ff7 , ff8 and ff9 pretty much the same amount except i like ff7 i lil bit more than the others. Like i can beat any of these games within a day.....like the lowest level ive beeten ff8 at was level 29. and ff9 at level 39. These games are just so easy lol. But when you play ff7 it doesn't matter if the graphics arent better than ff8 or ff9 cause the storyline is so freakin great. See graphics arent what i really look for in a game , its how it plays and how good the storyline is.

definitely! loved ff7 so much but what have ppl got against ff8? i thought it was brill! took a while to get used to junctioning but in the end rly liked it! am playing ff9 now and it's ok but prefer other 2.

8 cannot even come close to comparing to 7, Squalls Lionheart limitbreak was pretty cool though but it didn't hold a candle against Omnislash. I've beaten final fantasies 4, 7, 8, & 10.

Seven was by far the coolest Final Fantasy ever made. Hey have you guys/girls beaten Kingdom Hearts? Not as good but it was cool to fight against Yuffie, Squall, and Cloud at the same time. Of and fighting Sephiroth again was cooler than hell.

actually the reason you guys didnt like squall is cause of the graphics, the """"""""""anoying music"""""""" and battle sistem, and that you might have been too young to understand the melodrama of that series =P
other than that it was cool, only crappy. I really didnt enjoyed it too much, only the story line.

He has no real basis on any level. He lacks what people like to see in a hero or character for that matter.

Final fantasy VIII was the first FF i ever had so I guess I kinda have a reason to like it alot. Many of my friends think it was the worst final fantasy, aside from VII i think it's my favorite. And the only reason i like vii so much is because well, its got the best stoy line ever. The one thing that bothered me about final fantasy viii was that you always only needed the same amount of expiriance to level up so there was no real satisfaction when you got to a high lever. For example, in final fantasy IX it took forever just to get to lvl 10 in the Evil Forest and in VII it takes almost as long not to mention you have to level up your materia which takes forever. I know alot of people hate grinding and what not, but it gives you so much more satisfaction when its harder to get...but i digress, i think VII and VIII can't really be compared, the two games are way to different. And as far as VIII's junctioning system, its confusing but once you figure it out its very rewarding.

I think that was the same as me, actually no i got ff8 at the same time, but still likes ff7 better, i hated the ff8 battle system.
