Cool man I was thinking about creating a game myself, but really dont have the time to learn the ropes. I may attempt to create a game one day though, since I have a few ideas that I havent seen any other game developers implement.
Hey brb man I need to take care of something but feel free to explore the forums and offer some ideas for things you would like to see on a FF site Thanks!
your welcome but FFX-and up are still FF ,Same story lines just FFX started a whole new graphics engine and new game play but that about it.
Alot of people don't like change but the reality of all of it that things have to change .But they keep to the basic story lines some more in depth than others.
I still play some of the school FF's and still love em but I'm a graphics person so thats why I'm partial to X&X-2 Plus the music in FFX is sweet

I voted for FF1 because I believe it was the only one that deserves it. Square was desperate, Square used all their resources.
On the other hand, the later FFs while pretty and had alot of man power behind it, there was less of a passion behind it.
To me, graphics should not only be about pushing the power of a console to it's best but also present it in an interesting manner.
I'd say the early FFs after FF1 had little to push in the graphics department. During those time, it's hard to really judge one from the other as a good graphics game since any quality matching Earth Bound could be considered a great graphics game at that time and game design at that time for FF is top notch and still beats the newer FFs except it was also a time of other great rpgs with their own equally appealing graphic design.
So it's pretty much a tie since FF had to deal with the likes of Ogre Battle, Star Ocean, Dragon Quest, etc.
When FF7 came, it heralded as one of the prettiest FFs out there and was the first 3d rpg that looked great and played great in my opinion. Unfortunately 3d at that time is still limited than 2d. When FF7 came it was pretty as a 3d game. Unfortunately in overall appeal I liked Suikoden more and Wild Arms especially with the anime cutscenes.
FF8 is pretty great when it came, unfortunately it's main graphic appeal to me is that the characters are taller and that's why I couldn't like it as much because I've played Granstream Saga and Jade Cocoon. While no means as impressive as FF8's non sd looking character, I feel that FF8 lacked the appeal of it's design and was the first among the later FFs to actually go pushing the console's graphics rather than making the current graphics prettier FFs.
When FF9 came, it was pretty yet hardly genre defining. We have seen Xenogears, Saga Frontier 2, Legend of Legaia, Legend of Dragoon.
When FF X came, it was heralded as a pretty game. Unfortunately to me, it just didn't have the appeal of the cel shaded Jade Cocoon 2 and Wild Arms 3.

Nah, I created this site since one of my buds said that his wife like FF, so since I did as well I thought it would be cool to create a FF site for fans as well. So I made her a mod here and she posted a lot the first couple of days, then she disappeared forever.
