no its not. you can get an imac for a little over 1k with a gig of ram and duel core. you should look into it. i highly recommend macs. and now with the bootcamp, you can run all those pc games on your mac. granted its not as smooth as it could be, but its a step in the right direction.

i dont believe its going to be that system resource intensive.
my guess of recommended specs for what you saw in the video:
1gig ram
any dual core CPU
Geforce 7600gs or better
i think optimal (as good as it will ever get)
2gigs ram
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 or higher/AMD X2 6000+ or higher
Geforce 8800GTS
Vista (it MAY support DX10, if it does, then vista is a must for DX10 shaders)
yes i just described my own system. but i honestly believe with all of my knowledge that SC2 will not be very system resource demanding.
My money is on 2008 Q1
if you think differently, I'm willing to bet some Gil on it. either the requirements, or the release date, so PM me =)

Yeah se my problem is that I have a GeForce4...and 512 MB of RAM.

if you want to build, i can recommend some cheap parts that im sure will play the game.

I gotta upgrade my CPU...for this games, but I can play C&C 3 Tiberium Wars...really looking forward for Starcraft 2 (Blizzard games always the best).

sad but expected update. SC2 delayed until 2010. no big shock though.
blizzard says the delay is because of battle.net...
sounds about right. Probably trying to set up something similar to steam for all their future games.

well between you and me and all the internet lord i can only play offline if you catch my drift. i do intend to purchase it though as online is something im looking forward to with the new matchmaking system. and i hear it localized regions for online. so i cant mistakenly play against korean pros. ^^
