Views on Death
what do you think its like when you die? i think everything just becomes nothing, you dont know anything, you're just gone, the only thing thats left of you is your body and memories of you, anyhow, what are your views and how do you want to die?
i want to die from suicide, i dont want anybody to know that i ever existed, i want people to forget that i ever lived, i want my body thrown somewhere to rot etc..

and to be honest, i quit caring about death a long time ago. i figure it'll happen eventually, but for the moment I've got more important stuff to worry about. like... tons of stuff. actually nothings on my mind. Kinda peaceful.. not knowing, not caring...

Death is the irreversible (like my raincoat!) ending of all brain functions. Consciousness is a function of the brain. Therefore, I won't be. However, I don't plan to die. I'm hoping science will come up with a way to prevent death before I die.

Pretty much the same, but it's always good to have a back-up. If there is no method of prevention when I die then I'll hopefully be reincarnated.

death is something that i only avoid.
i do not worry about the afterlife, i dont care if i go to heaven/hell/rot-in-a-hole it doesnt matter to me.
sure, i can be scared of death, but its only my showing that i do not believe i have completed what i want to do on this planet.
i believe death is focused on way too much in our society, its something that people use for motivation at times. its used to control and manipulate people, its quite astonishing that the human manipulation of death is much darker than death itself.

It's because people don't want to die. Personally, I've never been afraid of death. When I was 7 I was scared of what might come after death. It's something which mortal man will never know. Also something an immortal man would never know since they can't die.

The beliefs in the afterlife is different from one person’s perspective to another, but whether a person believes in it or not everyone still want to live their lives to the fullest according to the decisions they make and the way they decide to live their lives. Personally I believe in the afterlife; simply because I believe in the existence of other worlds, some may be beyond time and space. The afterlife isn’t all about heaven and hell, there is more to it than the first few words that cross people’s minds when someone says the word “afterlife”. My point is; I don’t think death is the final stop in our journey.
I think more of life than death since life is what I have to deal with right now. I am not saying I am young and I am not going to die anytime soon, I believe that anyone may die anywhere anytime, but a person can’t deal with death or prevent it from happening that’s why thinking about it too much is something I don’t do. Sure we can follow a healthier lifestyle; but there are no guarantees since there are smokers who live till hundred and athletes that die in a car accident.
I believe that I haven't done or accomplished anything yet, so I don’t want to die anytime soon and when I do I want to after I have done something, not necessarily wonders to the human race  but at least making someone truly happy to know that I will be missed or something. I don’t want to die alone or unknown and I can promise that I won’t commit suicide no matter what. I don’t know why it matters to me so much but it does
As for science coming up with a way to prevent death, I think that’s just stupid.

Death is needed to continue life...without death life would stagnate and become meaningless...science and art would cease to exist because we wouldn't need to worry about the constraints of death..the earth would also become overpopulated. There is a balance to everything and you can't have one without the other...if things get thrown out of whack then chaos will ensue and we'll destroy ourselves.

since I already stated my view on death I'll say how I want to die...I either want to die peacefully in mysleep or fighting for an ideal that I am passionate about...either way I want my death to be honorable...I refuse to die a cowards death.
