Has anyone watched this or will watch it? It premiers in Aus soon and I just wanted to get some thoughts. It looks interesting as long as it's not a soap opera (I.e battlestar galactica or Heroes lol). I noticed that it stars the girl who played Adria in Stargate SG1 as one of the leads.

its a soap opera and lame... they only showed about 4 episodes then went on hiatus for the holidays... you dont even get to see what the aliens really look like... i was disappointed

Thanks for the heads up. I may still see the premiere, whenever that is now since I've forgotten.
Not seeing the aliens is a downer, but I guess their reasoning is "it's about what the aliens want and who they are, not what they look like"? Kind of like the Illusionist...they never explained how his tricks were done really but it wasn't the point in the end. Grr.

I've got the original series & movies...
The remake was pretty good... I was a little hacked that they showed 4 or 5 eps then took it off... but I understand why they did that... I'd rather that then it keep getting preempted by the other stuff.

Much like everyone else, I've yet to watch it either. The original gave me nightmares! I might watch it once it comes out on dvd, but i can't dedicate anymore of my time to TV.

Was there! I think it was the early eighties when the first series came out. I kinds want to say there was another mini series after the original,i'll check my facts later though!
