Auron, Sephiroth, and Squall. That would be amazing.
For backup I'd probably go with... Beatrix, Reno, Celes.
This is in party order as well, so the battle formations would look like so:
Enemy ............. Auron/Beatrix
Enemy ............. Sephiroth/Reno
Enemy ............. Squall/Celes
And yes, Reno gets the babes XD

haha, yea no kidding. If I reversed the rows, he would get distracted and trip everyone up. And should he be with the guys, Sephiroth would probably kill him for not being serious enough. XD
Though honestly I'm not sure how Reno would deal with the particular females in question, both of which are very strong willed knights. And, no offense to Reno or his fans, either Celes or Beatrix could kick the crap out of him.
Beatrix just plain kicks ass, she would knock him to the ground before he understood what was going on.
Celes has her Runic ability, which effectively leaves Reno with nothing but his rod.

You can easily hack her into your party and use her for a good 90% of the game. There are like 50,000 guides out there about it. I myself have done a playthrough were any time I could I soloed as Beatrix.
