umm here's thing....It doesn't help that the game eschews its role-playing roots in favor of a generic third-person shooter design. If you're looking for another character-driven epic that lives up to the Final Fantasy VII name, you'll be disappointed with Dirge of Cerberus. If you could care less about all that and are just looking for a mindless action game to blast through in a weekend or two, you can find some moderate enjoyment in Dirge of Cerberus. But in a market that is filled to bursting with great action games, it takes more than some mediocre gunplay and Final Fantasy window dressing to make a game worth your time and money.

I've found the DOC game lacks all that final fantasy games have in them which makes them worth playing. I am disappointed in DOC...

ok i just got me the game...well...i have to say i dont enjoy FPS games...and this is dissapointing...but it'll do if you want to just kill some time rather than studying or something lol
and Vincent is so cool hahaha

It's not always shooting everything that moves. If you did that then only 60% of the targets you shot at would be enemies. There's also some brain work (not much though).
