Ugly Betty
this new show might only appeal to the girls but you guys can give it a shot.
its based on a TV show from Argentina
but reminds me of the movie, "The Devil Wears Prada"
betty is an assistant to the new guy at a glamour magazine, son of the owner I think, asnd his dad hired betty to keep his son from seducing his assistants all the time. so now he goes after the models, lol
the new guy (son) failed with his ad campaign and made the client mad. he realized betty was smarter than him and that her ad idea was better. she had quit bcuz he made her do humiliating tasks, like remove the gum from his shoes, and other nonsensical things just to keep her busy and out of the way. but then he begged her to come back to work.
next week? betty takes home "the book" which must be their bible of how to do it all and something happens to the book
tune in and tell me what you think. the critics are raving about it.

This started last week over here. I watched the first episode and it wasnt too bad. Cant really see what theyll do for the rest of the series though as it appears the ugly thing may have worn off after just one episode.
