TS2 TROUBLE! AH!
ok so i just got this new computer, and its extremely fast as compared to my old one (esp when running the game!). last time it took me almost forever to get one sim to live his full life but now it only takes about two days. HOW COOL IS THAT?
ANYWAY, since i got this new comp, things have been going well but when i play, therell be this pop up thatll come up after TS2 pauses. and it goes something like "your display whatchamacallit driver has stopped working properly and you need to reboot your computer" and so on. then therell be this other pop up that comes up saying "There has been an error in the game. It will shut down now. farewell.". well, something like that. so after the game terminates, the screen will be all funny and crappy looking. it usually happens once in a few sim days (in-game).
any help people?

um.. i believe TS2 stands for The Sims 2. its not an online game.
but thanks, anyway. OH YEAH and the problem is kinda solved. if i dont play the game for long periods at a time, the display driver wont fail to work.

Gods, I have that trouble on my laptop. My other computer just has a pop-up saying that it's trying to access the internet, so I don't worry about it much.

have you updated your driver?
you said it was a new computer, have you installed the correct video card driver or just the ones that "windows" recommended?
if you have an ATi card go to www.ati.com
If you have an nvidia card, go to www.nvidia.com
if you dont know, say so and i can show you how to find out.
making sure you have the very latest graphics drivers is important.
if you are still having the problem after new drivers. then my guess is that you are running windows vista which has driver problems.

TS2's Timesplitters 2...it is normally anyway, The Sims 2 is normally just Sims 2
