Tourist Trophy
from the makes of gran turismo. its a real riding simulator (same idea as gt) but with bikes! im bursting with excitement. im in the process of getting my motorcycle license myself is this is just what i need to get me up to par. i say this bc i feel that playing the gran turismo games seriously contributed to my driving skills in real life.
anyway, does anyone have this? i know this isnt everyone bag but i hear there are a ridiculous amount of unlockable stuff to it. and being as its made fomr poly, its real, they use real bikes and the physics are gonna be amazing.
im thinking of getting the game tomorrow. thoughts everyone?

Yeah I haven't heard a thing about TT, which is odd since you think the hype would be everywhere.

I can't see how a bike simulator will work without a mock-up bike to ride on.
I don't mind bikes in real life, their acceleration is phenomenal, but I'm a racing lover and on circuits cars are faster (more grip. Well formula 1, champ cars, formula 3)

well my only experience with the game was after the genesis era and it was road rash 3 or something. this is clearly why i say it was just "okay". im sure had i played it back when it was new i would have a different idea on it.
much like kids who play ff7 now think its simply "okay"

update time.
so the game has the same style as gt4 (duh) which is why the game came out so quick. they have most of the same tracks so they primarily working on physics and people i would imagine. it looks great.
the licenses are good and bad. good in the fact that the time to beat isnt hair splitting, bad as in you have to be even more on the mark than in gt4.
from the looks of it there are a ton of bikes and gear to outfit your biker in (pretty much just a ploy).
they have different riding styles which i havent gotten into but im sure it effects how each bike rides.
speaking of, every bike is indeed different much like real life.
i suspect the physics are on the dot. they eve asked for my riders height prosumably to work that in with the physics as well.
another thing, instead of buying cars like in gt4, you challenge bikes. you have win each bike and there is no form of money in the game as far as i can see.
bottom line, if you enjoy racing games this is a good twist but it might be "too real" for some racing fans. it was only 40$ so if you got it used it would be well worth the money i think.
