no doubt it's Seymour where u fight him after Mt. Gagazet. U haf no idea how much trouble i had before beating him. I had to restart like 4 times before beating him. But it was fun when you're trying ways and finally able to defeat him. Sweet~

o yea that part i believe is the hardest part...i also had trouble defeating him too...i remember it took me more than 4 times to defeat him my first time...

4 times isnt enough to be classed as "hard" IMO. I remember getting stupidly lucky against Flux in my NSG Rikku Only No Overdrive file. He hit the other 2 characters (who were switching weapons to follow single character challenge rules) and Rikku got enough turns in to kill him with shining gems.
Anyway, I think the hardest boss battle would be Braska's Final Aeon (Penance for the optional boss)

OK then:
Seymour Flux- He has 2 main phases, first phase ends at 35k HP.
Phase 1: His attack pattern is Lance of Atrophy (Full Life), LoA (Full Life), Dispel, Cleave. Have a starting party of Rikku, Tidus and Auron. Tidus should have first strike (bought from O'aka in Macalania). Tidus casts Haste on himself (or Hastega if you have it) and then on Auron. Rikku switches out for Yuna who casts protect on Auron. If Auron gets a turn, switch out for rikku who changes weapons (to anything really) if her overdrive guage isnt full. If it is, mix a grenade and a lvl. 1 key sphere for Hazardous Shell which should put Flux under Silence and Poison (1400 damage per turn). When LoA is used, use a holy water if you get time before the Mortiorcris casts Full Life. Now revive the fallen member (if any), and keep attacking while making sure someone is in between Flux and the Mortiorcris to stop Full Life killing you again. After dispel (if he's not silenced), bring in Auron to defend, making sure he's under haste and protect. Use a mega phoenix or phoenix down if you must then repeat until he's under 35k HP left (you don't need to mix Hazardous Shell again). He won't enter phase 2 until after hes below 35k and you attack him (in any way)
Phase 2: The only thing you need to worry about here is Total Annihilation (which is after 3 turns, or the turn after it says something along the lines of "Ready To Annihilate") If he's silenced, this will be his only move. Now is the time to pull out the big guns as far as damage is concerned. To be safe, cast Shell on Auron and make him defend on his last turn before TA and he should survive. Do Attack Reels, Slice and Dice and grand summon Bahamut for Mega Flare (don't do this til the last chance, switch members if you need to) and you should do enough damage, if not, revive Yuna to do another aeon overdrive to kill it for sure.
Yunalesca (3 forms)
First Form (24k HP): not exactly dangerous. I would just start with Tidus, Wakka and Auron, just keep attacking healing when necessary.
Second Form (48k HP): This is where I veer off with most people here. DO NOT HEAL ZOMBIE, DO NOT USE ZOMBIEPROOF/WARD. Very important, or else you get killed on the final form. As for how to heal,let them die and use a phoenix down. Anyway, just keep attacking while reviving fallen members and healing them if they are NOT under Zombie status. Make sure all 3 active party members are under zombie when you kill this form.
Final Form: Mega Death will miss because your guys are under Zombie status. Now you need to keep track of her turns, she does have an attack pattern which goes:
Mega Death -> Curaga/Regen/Hell Biter -> CRH-> Mind Blast -> CRH -> (repeat from start)
Anyway, after the second turn of Curaga/Regen/Hell Biter, switch all 3 party members for light hitters (Yuna, Lulu and Rikku for say), the next turn after Mind Blast (causes confusion) will almost certainly be Hell Biter. That will stop any confusion left. Switch the main party back in and keep attacking until the next Mind Blast and repeat.

On my No Sphere grid, Rikku Only, No Overdrives (all 3 rules at once) file, I beat Flux and Yunalesca first try while the Keepers took me half a dozen tries each
