Timeline
What if, two years from now, you could travel back in time with just a single step? What if you could see the final evolution of our world before it collapses and returns to the cosmos with but a single thought? What if you could change the world as we know it in a single moment? Now, what if you had no choice?
The year is 2050, and the first time machine has been invented. However, following this breakthorugh in technology, something terrible crept in. The activation of the machine tore a hole in time, pulling all eras together as one, bring past, present, and future all together. This event is known now as Zero-Hour. A war threatening the entire world has errupted from this tear, and the world was split into two sides-Core and Arm.
The Core side fights to protect freedom and the world, hoping to find a way to fix the mess, while the Arm side fights to control the world for eternity, and if not, destroy it so that no one may take their place. This is the new reality.
To make things worse, because of the tear, the world is at a standstill, stuck in mid summer. However, it is still turning on its axis, so day and night pass normally, but half the world in eternally frozen while the other is slowly becoming a desert.

Daniel walks through a ruined town, looking around at the destruction caused by the recent battle that waged here. Although the Core had been victorious, it was a shallow victory, as all they had won was the despair and hatred of the residents.
"You!" And old woman ran up to Daniel, hitting him as hard as she could, "You had our town destroyed! You're the ones responsible!"
"Calm down, lady!" Daniel caught her flailing arms and held them firmly so she couldn't hit him again, "I'm sorry for the town, but it was inevitable with the way the war's going now!"
"You killed my husband!" She broke free from his grip and smacked him hard across the face.

"Geez, lady! Calm down!" Daniel stepped backwards, narrowly avoiding a second slap, "Was he on the Arm or just a civilian?"
"A civilain you imbecile! He was sixty-two! Who could he fight?!" The woman fell to her knees, crying, "Get out of here! You'll only bring them back!"
"Man, are we really doing the right thing?" Daniel sighed as he walked away, reloading his weapons, "It seems we're causing more harm than the Arm..."
"Stop thinking like that!" The captain smacked hiom ont he back of the head, "That'll get you killed!"
"You're right, sorry," Daniel grinned, "Always think too much."
"Don't worry, when this is all over, there'll be plenty of time for thinking. But not right now. Just stay alive, that's all that matters."

Velocity walked along the abandoned town acting like a normal civilian and spread tales of how it was Core's fault the city had been destroyed, hiding her Gemini blades from all eyes, lest the Core soldiers notice them. She sees a Core soldier get smacked in the back of the head and can't help but giggle.

"Yo, Daniel!" A soldier ran up to him, "You done with your patroll?"
"Not yet, still gotta check out C street," Daniel sighed, "Wonder when this war will end, John."
"When one side's dead or gives up," John grinned, "And its not going to be us."
"let's hope. Arm has some pretty darn big guns," Dnaiel laughed, "And remember the intel we got yesterday? They're supposedly working on that Justice weapon. Whatever it is, it can't be good."
"You're right," John sighed, "Hey, I''l finish your patroll for you since you look tired. Head back to head and take a load off."
"Alright, thanks," Daniel waved as he walked away towards a half destroyed in, where the Core forces in the town were centered.

Velocity walks to a street that is almost completely abolished.
"My, my, what a devistating sight",says Velocity,"They could have done much more. Pity."
Velocity looks around for a soldier to flirt with, getting the public to hate Core was a good way to attract attention, so she knew the best way to get it off of her was to get a soldier to come into "her" home.
