Through the Wrong Eyes
Life is life.
Living is living.
Or is it?
I walk as an unborn, yet I still live.
Will I be born in time?
I know I am meant for something.
Will I die before my prime?
My heart strains at my actions.
My brain fights with my heart.
They will love me until my life will start.
Then they will have hate as their reactions.
Why do I have to be like them for them to love me?
Are they so stricken with blindness?
How can they only see what their eyes show them?
In either birth or death, I would be free.
For birth I pray
But I do not fear death.
To all I long to say
"Oh you people, you people
I love you so
Oh you people, you people
My love forever grow.
Though you hate me
And scorn me
And judge me
And slay me with your words,
from me my sound of love
is all that will be heard."
They will say within my heart lives the Snake
Even Satan with his hatred
But I have a love that none can shake.
Even the Son is on my heart's throne.
If it were not so, they would still be wrong
They hold fast to their traditions
So if a new idea comes along,
They destroy it
And for that I fear them
And that is all that keeps me from birth.
And that is all that keeps me from death.
If only I could have birth or death
Then I could live
I must destroy the fear
And my love I must forever give.
