This would never happen but would be awesome
Be cool if they made a Final Fantasy game where you had to travel into the past and future of other previous Final Fantasy games! So you could travel back to Final Fantasy II and see all of the characters there, and have to continue on their quest, then warp to Final Fantasy VIII and X, etc. You could also bring some of the Characters from those other versions as well  Then near the end you are taken to a new FF universe where you have to defeat a powerful Foe that went back in time and stole all of the Bosses from previous Final Fantasy games powers and became extremely powerful. That would freaking own but I doubt they would never create a game that we truly want since game developers are strange like that

Your Idea Would Be Better If You Like, CREATED Your Own FF Character And A Buddy, Then Go Back In Time And Gain The Main Characters Powers From Other Games. (Like You Main Character Becoming A "Treasure Hunter" From Locke In ff6/3)
And Your Character Evolves Fable Style "Your Actions Always Have Consiquences" Like You Get Hit By Squall's Renzokuken's Rough Devide And You Get Scared Like Him Or Something

Past: Aeoran Was Genetically Created By A Scientist Called Schrel Okkari, Who Wanted To Build A Super Soldier Out Of Human DNA And Cat DNA.
The Experiment Was A Success, But The Child Showed No Will To Fight. So Schrel Gave Up On It, And Raised Aeoran Like A Son. On Aeoran’s 10th Birthday, He Became Wild and Aggressive. He Had Grown Into One White Demon Wing And One Black Angel Wing. Schrel Feared For His Safety And Aeorans, So He Cryogenically Froze Him At The Age Of 18.
Aeoran Was Awakened Years Later, Long After His Creators Death, and Had No Memory Of The Time Before... And No Sight Too. So He Stayed In The Run Down Lab, and Honed His Cat-Like Hearing Into Letting Him See.
