this poem
my insides turn to ash
seems like nothing good ever lasts.
all my happiness snatched away
as i fade more day by day.
does anyway care to save my life
or will they stand there as i whither and die.
i don't an end to this tragedy
and yet still it will be the death of me.

That poem is more than a poem it seems. Like a nectar of despair that though it fills my heart with sorrow, somehow fills and fascinates those who are already filled with despair. And though I have never been a fan of short poems, this one just feels completed.

Echoes
The echoes of my voice
Swallow me down.
Into the darkness I fall,
And my thoughts begin to drown me.
Full of pain
I’m living in endless doubt.
It feels like death
Might be the only way out.
The scars on my wrist
Tell the story of my past.
If I go on like this
I know I will surely crash.
These cuts won’t be the first,
And these tears won’t be the last I cry.
I’m dying on the inside.
I’m sinking further
Into the depths,
And it seems the only way out of here
Is to breathe my last breath.
If I let go now
Maybe I’ll finally be happy at last.
I’ve already given up
And all that’s left are the shadows that I once cast.

Still I am not yours,

Even though you’ve had my heart
Since the first time I saw you smile.
It kills me to know
You’re happier with her,
And even though it may mean nothing to you,
I still love you more than words.
So in my room,
In the last of the sun’s beams,
I write you this poem revealing
My bleeding heart’s dying dream.
The War You Can’t See On the Surface (This is More Than Just A Scratch)
Imprisoned, I hide behind my empty smiles.
Disguised by a mask
Of fake happiness,
I’m dying on the inside.
All I know is sorrow,
But you’ll never see my worthlessness.
What hides behind the image on the surface
Is the real horror.
I’m my own worst enemy.
Undeserving of love,
I’ve given up.
A wretched thing I am, with a tragic ending.
Beneath the smoke,
Behind blue eyes
The truth behind the lies
Is I hope I choke.
I can’t look at me, because of my wrongs.
I can’t look at myself,
And I don’t want help.
All I want is to be loved, and belong.
