the problem the bad people get rich and get a lot of influence is because they're willing to go past corpses, they don't mind another dead guy as long as they get their money
take the diamand and gold mines in africa, if 1 person would turn out to be a problem, the bilionair owning the mine will say "just whack the guy..." in countries like those he'll get it done for 500 dollars...
the honest people usually aren't that tough, they couldn't consider killing someone to reach what they want, or they start to think "the entire world is corrupt already, how am i gonna fix that?"
