In a distant land far away from our earth there was a peaceful planet called Ivalice. Her great races roamed freely along their planet in harmony. But suddenly one of the races decided that they were better then the rest and began to try to take over entire world. These Humans have created vast ships that float across the air. They pillage and bomb the great towns and cities of the other races. Yet, these races have banded together in order to stop the humans once and for all. They stole the plans to many of the great masterpieces of the humans and built some of their own tricks for the humans.
Lands-
The Land of Gretvalled-
Home of the race of the Humans, it is filled with millions of their masses crammed together into skyscrapers that touch the heavens. The masses are guided by the corrupt Czar Eglar who waged war on the other races. Their capital city is Treal and this is where the all of the war strategies are made. Far on the outskirts of the cities are farmlands and country, yet most do not live their because of the strong and vile creatures that constantly attack. It is surrounded by mountains and is seemingly impenetrable.
The Land of the Lilies-
This is the Land where the Quelos prosper. Their underwater city is composed of vast coral reefs taking up much of the Drakian Sea. Although they cannot survive on land for longer then that of few hours they provide a terrific support to any naval attacks. They are small but are so vast in masses that they can even change the tides to support or stop cargo and warships. Their land is impossible to reach unless you had the ability to breath under water.
The Land of the Moon-
The Land of the moon holds the Moogles. There small towns are etched into the mountains surrounding the Land of Gretvalled. They are very smart and have created many amazing tools for their trades; their blacksmithing skills are renowned across the lands, as is their diamond mines set deep into the mountains. Recently these small creatures have constructed a strong shield powered by the diamonds to stop the attacks of the human.
The Land of the Sun-
This Island is set in the middle of the Drakian Sea and houses the great magical Vieras. They spend their days worshiping their gods and practicing their powerful magic skills. Enormous cathedrals surround the island crafted by the finest Viera masons. The white marble shines brightly in the sun revealing peaceful happy towns and merchants shouting their wares.
Humans- The race of Humans is adept at many things, but their true expertise is in their ability to adapt and grow. They learn quickly and are decently intelligent. They are skilled at using weaponry and at the machines they run.
Viera- These Magical beings are covered in a coat of fine fur and have long pointy ears. They excel at all skills in magic and are very intelligent. These beings are very peaceful, yet will act viciously when necessary.
Moogles- These small furry creatures are skilled at mining and mechanics. The create many magnificent creations with their small agile fingers. Although they are very weak physically they make up for it in the expertise in forgery and craftsmanship.
Quelos- These amphibious creatures have smooth slippery skin and long fins that allow them to swim quickly in the water. They are no larger than a human child 10 years of age and can easily change the tides and create enormous waves. Some of these creatures have suddenly gained the ability to stay on land for long periods of time, as long as they have a constant water supply. They are ambient magicians and excel in the powers that water brings.

Pet: A small red fox he's named Grasi that has followed him and been his willing companion for over a decade. At times, it seems almost like they talk to each other..
Special Abilities: Being a mage, Kae has mastered a few spells, and has a working knowledge of many others, so it would be difficult to list all his abilities. Suffice it to say that, while he isn't the mightiest in the land, he's not helpless, either. He does have a limited telepathy, allowing him to communicate (albeit badly, akin to trying to talk to an Englishman while you're using poorly-spoken Dutch) with his fox, and possibly others.
Bio: Kae was born into a moderately wealthy family. He didn't want for much, and when he did, his parents weren't slow to do it for him. He was the apple of their eye, they doted on him day and night, until one day, after he'd turned 17, he simply became sick of it. He packed his bags quietly, and ran off into the night. After several months of wandering the countryside, he made the mistake of robbing the cottage of an old wizard, Jilen. Instead of punishing the boy on the spot, or threatening to turn him over to the authorities, however, Jilen simply smiled knowingly at him and beckoned him inside. Kae, fearing that he was about to die, followed him inside, only to be offered a chance to stay, on the condition that he would consent to be Jilen's apprentice, as the old man knew he was soon to die of age, Over the next four and a half years, Kae rarely ventured outside the cottage, except to get food, and sometimes to explore the nearby forest. It was in this forest he met Grasi, stuck in a bear trap, and in pity, he took her home and cared for her. Even once she had healed, she stayed by his side, a loyal companion. Alas, these happy times weren't to last forever.. The old man did die, as all old men must, and taking up the spellbooks of both himself and his master, Kae took a deep breath, and went out into the world..
