the universe.
so from time to time i think about how vast the universe is and start to think if it really is "endless" how can that be since every thing has a start and an end and if it does end what come after the end it just can't end in a wall there has to be something behind that. So that’s my thoughts what do you think?

That is exactly one of those thoughts, which I think most people can't really deal with. It sounds strange, when I put it that way, but it's really simple;
We can think and we can speculate - but we can't really go and check it by ourselves (unless we work with space-ships and such  ) And as erik already demonstrated with his post, it's a really vast thought... how can it end if it doesn't end and so on... can we really image that? I can't ^^

yes that is one line of thought another is that b/c light rays move so fast that the matter pass the eage of the universe and is lost forever so one day there will be not matter left any where.

You do curve because the world's round. If you look out from by the sea then you'll see that it very slightly curves. Only very slightly though because the world is obviously bigger than people tend to think. Anyway, can you imagine that the universe is flat and if you go right to the edge you'll just fall off into nothing? I know I can't.

yes but when your on a boat the gravity of the world is making u curve but in space there is no gravity keeping u attached to one center point so what would make you curve?

well, in our speices life i doubt we will ever know. but point in fact the universe is expanding right now. problem is, if something is endless... how does it really expand? i guess just the space between objects.
point is, there has to be life on the the edge of our solar system. what is it like for them where one side of the sky is filled with stars and the other side is just blackness.

the universe is ever expanding, but its mass is constant, therefore it has an end. but in terms of its size it is ever increasing
it is impossible for u to travel o one nd of the universe and arrive at the other because the direction of its expanding siz does not curve back onto itself, it is expaanding out into every axis, but not uniformly. it has no pretext shape
thats how i think about it anyways

thats prolly spot on. the mass being constant and stuff. being as energy is only changed, never destroyed. or at least according to our current knowledge of physics and subatomic particles.
