The Thing That Makes Final Fantasy Your Favourite...
Is it a specific charater, weapon or scene? Maybe it's what one character says that sticks in your mind, or the story line that keeps you playing it. Or perhaps it's a combination of everything.
Mine is Auron from Final Fantasy X. He just rules all. What's yours?

I like the addictive property. I just started playing, thinking, okay, this is weird (the intro's are weird when you don't know the story) but then I just got addicted to the story. It's mostly the storylines that I like best.

I love the replayability, I've just finished FFvii again and just slotted FFviii in the ol' PS2. I love the way the games play, saves the old button mashing of lots of other games. You don't need to be "first" to win, plus the story lines generally are better than other games I've played. Because they're big, long games they are able to be a bit more complex.
That, and swords are cool.

I think it's how al the things build up onto each other, basically making a different world for you to dive into and just start playing.

i would say it's the "web-effect" that it has on me; "web-effect" being understood as ff getting me into other areas of entertainment and philosophies.
one example of the web-effect was when i was introduced to my fav music artist; Koda Kumi.

I like how all FF games are way ahead of their time and give you a glimpse of how games would actually look like in the near future. Plus they do a good job of placing you in their universe.
