Kuro, there was a difference. Null's stab was a nonlethal hit. And also, his speed was far superior to Renge's, so it is NOT god modding. Your stab was a lethal stab and there was no excessively superior speed. Also, demonically possessed swords cannot automatically hit unless the wielder is at such a superior level where the opposite fighter could not react. Also, my 'god modding' is not god modding. It is a reaction to a heavily god modded move. Just be happy that I didn't throw Elric out of reality. I do that to people who repeatedly offend the rules of that. Also, in the FAQ, it SPECIFICALLY states that dodging every single attack is neither good rping nor is it following the rules. I let you hit Null with that attack, but I took out Elric's ability to fight, both as anti-god modding and also as a way to allow you to hit him at least once. Kuro, I have seen enough god modding to pick it out of just about anything. The stab Null made on Renge was a warning stab with roots in reality. Elric's stab was meant to kill and also defied much of what reality would allow, especially since Elric has no ability that gives him superspeed and reflexes. So, Null could have at least reacted to the move, but you made it so that i supposedly couldn't. Hence the reality altering comment since it does indeed defy physics and reality of the rp. And as for the ancient warrior king thing, it does not allow skill to supercede all dodging and reaction ability of the opponent. As I stated before, Null still could have at least partially guarded the blow sine your character neither restrained him nor froze him. My supposed borderline god modding should be looked at closely. The actions were nonlethal, logically sound, or in sparring where Null was easily of superior skill, where an opening in the defense was found and taken care of. Another strike against that stab is the fact that Null was in a purely defensive stance, so he was readied to react to an attack.

My strike was not lethal or i would have made some sort of indication that it was, I also did mention in the post that he moved particularly swiftly

I never said it was an auto hit, Elric's natural swordsmanship is at least equal to that of null, the ability of his runesword to guide his strikes and parries therefore makes him very capable of blocking most attacks and landing most of his own.

I have not dodged every attack, i have allowed both null and talia to strike me several times. YOU are the one who has decided you can dodge every attack and land every single one of yours, you havent allowed me a single chance to either block or dodge any of your attacks, I dont care how fast your character is you can't do that also, if we're being realistic about this impaling someone isnt non-lethal, even if you dont hit any organs it will cause massive blood loss and shock, almost certainly killing the person in question without immediate medical attention. Eventually I got fed up with your character constantly one upping me and not conceeding a single hit, so i decided to play your game, see how you liked it and now you see how irritating it is. Also just out of interest, where on your character sheet does it say you can summon fire elemental or anything like that?

Hmmmm, well, i guess my posts could have been misinterpreted. But, that is something I will change for this board. Also, since you summoned supposedly THE Air Elemental, i took a stretch on my character's pyrokinesis to counter the fact that you cannot take control of a mage's spell. Even an air elemental cannot take control of a spell cast by someone or something else unless that spell is first under no one's control in any manner. So, i had to do something to make both the elemental and the supposed spell switch irrelevant. Also, the comment about THE air elemental hinted that the elemental is a deity of its own and as such wouldn't follow something as weak as Elric. And yes, Elric is pathetic and weak compared to a deity. He couldn't simply command it and treat it like some mindless minion. He could at most control an elder elemental. Just throwing that out there. Anyway, I'll make my posts more specific from now on and you have to take it upon yourself to ask if the meaning isn't clear. Also, do as I am going to do and make sure it is more specific and clear. Also, refrain from using deity's and creatures that wouldn't follow a mortal unless it is in very rare circumstances. Except for your abilities. They are fine but it can only be aid with limits. Deity's won't bend reality for you and they won't make a personal appearance. Especially evil deities. They will at most send a scion. But that is rare and only in cataclysmic events. Alright, that should help clarify things for what deity's and elementals and also what mages can do.

I kind of understand where you're coming from, Elric doesnt have any control over the deities, he has the ability to communicate and make contracts with them exchanging their aid for something from him or his people. It's a little difficult to explain, you should read the book =D it's awesome anyway, and then you'd understand.

Alright, I was just laying down some of the ground rules that are commonly used for deities and such, that way it wouldn't come into question again and this whole mess won't happen again. Alright, no hard feelings then? I think I may just tweak something using my rp author powers so that we escape with serious injuries so we can continue our rping. Sound good? We will all be in the same places but with a few serious injuries to make it the aftermath of a battle.
