THE REMAKE TO BE ANNOUNCED IN THE E3?....
i read in a website that Square is going to reveal some interesting stuff in the E3 including ff13 and some other surprises, i still believe that the ff7 tech demo wasn't created for nothing it has a purpose, i think they want to take everybody by surprise. WE WANT THE REMAKE!

haha, well yeah indeed i think most FF7 fans would love to have a remake...personally if they made one i think i'd like they didn't change the story line....maybe making the buildings more complex like in crisis core qould give the game a nice touch. do you think they'd release it for the psp or ps3? n_n' cos personally i find the ps3 TOO expensive for my pocket XD then again i'd make whatever i had to to get the remake  IF there was to be one

id think if they were to remake it, it would have to be a PSP, PS3, PC and maybe a DS version, but it would ROCK if they did release it, but like tsuki says, the story stays the same, just the graphics and layout get improved!!

XD yeah well, the storyline is why many ppl think they shouldn't make a remake, cos they might change it...but anyway XD we *want* a remake
also, i don't know about the ps3...or other systems for that matter XD but i think it'd take abou...3 discs for the psp right?  are there games that heavy for the psp yet? *shrug*

I would love more than anything a final fantasy 7 remake especialy if it were on psp but id settle for ps3. When i beat crisis core and it showed the tech demo it made me think, Wouldn't it be just cruel to show that not only to ff7 fans but also to someone who had never heard of ff7 and played crisis core because it would be almost impossible for them to play ff7 because of its rarity now.

i like your logic minion XD even FF Tactics was remade for the psp, and it wasn't near as good as FFVII...i liked it, the story was nice, but FFVII is by far superior to any FF game...at least for me XD

anyways, yea thats how i see it, their releasing them one at a time, in honor of the 20th anniversary of the franchise, so the FFVII remake should be about 20 years after the original was released..... now who knows exactly what day it was released?

....you're kidding right? please tell me you are, i'm not goig to wait 9 frigging years for SE to say "oh yeah, FFVII has to be remade" noooo!
they have to release it now because ppl are asking for it XD. the way i'd like it to be, SE should release it asap, how many years does it take them to make that big of a game? and with the graphics ppl are expecting? i don't know...maybe 3-4 years? and it'd be first out in japan, one more year for north america to get it...IF we are lucky enough, i think USA and NA countries should have it by 2013....but that's a reaaaaally big if *sob*

okay. lets look at it realistically. it took probably 3-4 years to make the game the first time. thats coming up with a plot, making the engine, writing it all and then programming.
clearly, the ff7 video on the ps3 was totally redone, so if we are just talking about a graphic update... i cant see it being more than 2 years. thats if its all the same. if they want to do some of it differently (director wise, like different angles and adding some scenes to help explain parts, that could take more time.
but bottom line, sony sucks at keeping secrets. if it was going to be shown at this years E3... we probably would have heard something right?

let's think they are trying real hard to keep the secret, but secretly we all know there's gonna be a remake XD we are being hopeful here, besides, *if* they were to make a remake i think they'd earn lots of money...and talking about a big company like SE i don't think they'll miss this op....well i *hope* they won't XD
if we also consider they are going to add voices during the FMVs and change the graphics, make the "dungeons" more complicated it might take them longer...that's if they are considerate enough to give fans what they want XD

voices, okay. but thats like... 3 months tops for the jap voices and another 3 for english.
but adding more to the worldmap and stuff.... id rather they didnt. I mean the only thing i can think of that wouldnt hurt the game, is to to make all of the slums open for exploration. and even top side too if possible. but the towns pretty much have to stay the same. and the "dungeons" were never that complicated to begind with.
ugh. all this makes me want to play it again lol.

if you ask me THAT would make the game even better than it already is...besides, let's not push suqare qith the timing XD i'll give them 3 years *bossy voice at SE* and facts are: when ppl play crisis core, they'll *want* to play FF7 (just like phoenix says), it happened to me and i've played ff7 dozens of times! there has to be a remake for the sake of the remaining sanity we all fans have left XD

no i didnt play crisis core.... yet.
a friend of mine did though.
fun fact, the voice of zack is played by the same guy who was "endless mike" in The Adventures of Pete and Pete back on Nickelodeon.
anyway... square would get major props from everyone if they rereleased and it came out the way fans want it to. not to mention, i wonder if they could add any kind of online functions. only thing i can think of off hand is the chocobo races. (with of course far more breeding options lol)
