I probably won't have an internet connection for it at all so I probably won't ever have the new interface. That's assuming it won't be added if I need my 360 fixing again.

not sure what you mean by that, Bungee is making the next halo game that coming out summer of 2009 (the Halo Recon game)
it looks like im the only one that likes the upgrade. whateva

well, halo recon is pretty much an stand alone expansion for halo3, of course bungie will have their say in it
what i was referring to was Gearbox Software being picked to develop Halo4, and not bungie.
that being said, I'm getting attached myself, now i just have to upgrade my netflix to unlimited 
edit: I realize now that the problem has to do with the maps being cached, and reading from the hd instead of the disk. or something.. lol.

I know this is an old topic.... but now that the update is a couple of years oldish... does every one still hate on it? I did @ first... but I find that I really like it now... it's but more organized IMHO and easier to use & customize....

I only got the update just over a month ago and I don't like it (cursed Assassins Creed II putting it on when updating  ). The original was just as organised and easy to use as the new one. The new one just seems pointless and rips off the Mii idea from the Wii.
