The Kiss
The Kiss

Perched on her upper lip, a tiny bit of perspiration, like that of dew on the morning grass, glistening with the soft ambient light of the muted sunshine. Climbing ever so slightly, a sprinkling of freckles dusts her playful nose adding a youthful characteristic. Scaling up higher, her unwrinkled forehead and groomed brow add a polished elegance to her portrait. A slight drop, her eyes sparkle like the deep, aqua-marine, waters of a tropical paradise, windows to her clear, stainless soul. Sweeping down her flushed cheeks betray her wanton nature as the moment draws closer to fruition. Framing her picture, glossy locks of auburn blaze, creating a corona of subdued fury.
Her lips part slightly allowed her hot breathe to slowly slip past her engorged lips and her tongue silently escapes its prison, running for freedom, across her upper and lower lips, only to be dragged back in.
Her nostrils slightly flare, tasting hidden aromas and titillating textures as the moment is almost upon her.
A slight brush of her cheek reveals stored electricity, leading back to the gossamer hairs on her neck which seem to be made of the finest silk. Her eyes, now half lidded, ready themselves for the imminent darkness about to descend. Her breathe stilled, like it was stolen in the night by a thief, as contact is but a few short hair lengths away. Her lips open slightly checking to see who waits on the door step of their safe haven and like an old friend, comfort and warmth await inside.
Frozen on the precipice of time, standing for an eternity, lingering for a lifetime, the slow dance grinds, teasing of future encounters, but none as magnified as this... as earthy... as primal.
(My thoughts on a real first kiss, from a guys perspective (It's all about the girl)the ones that seem to take forever, the ones that leave that 'je ne sais quoi' in your soul and seem to be the sweetest of moments)

I do not want to start a fight here but the poem (the kiss) is my creation. I wrote it and it even has been copyrighted. If you do not take it down immediately I will have to bring moderators into this or, in the event that moderators don't do anything about it, take legal action. I do not want to have to do that but I do not like my work being stolen from me.

Yeah about that I wrote the whole thing specifically for this website (actually specifically to impress a user here...)
So, no I will not be taking it down and in fact if you do not cease and desist these allegations I will be forced to take legal action against you by asking for the release of your IP address and then sending your ISP a DCMA if I find you have re-posted it without MY permission under your own name. Following that, I WILL pursue all and any legal ramifications not limited to but including, mental duress, stress, and defamation of character.

This is a shameful and cowardly act as the only reason you would have to post something like this is that you stole this from me, possibly got it published and are now trying to cover your tracks.
Also please provide for me the your poem I "stole" from you... What really pisses me off is that I made this and now you are saying I stole it! Especially since I made it to impress someone.... You just ruined my day with this...

seriously, I've read your poems Lumer, they tend to be more on the dark and dreary side of things, neither having substance or a flare for exquisite, while Mabes is full of splendor. Why you would accuse Mabe of plagiarizing is beyond me.. unless this is your idea of a joke. and if it is your idea of a joke, its a very horrid joke at that....

Good thing I have taken precautions against this sort of thing now. I will possibly take this and my other poems down for fear of them being stolen, but if I do that it seems like this Lumer a.k.a. Asith has won...
BTW Lumer I hope your karma for doing something like this comes around.

I've read you poems as you posted by Asith and it doesn't even seem possible that you could have written this poem with what you wrote there. You used simple rhyming schemes like AA, BB, CC, DD.
My poem doesn't even follow a rhyming scheme. My professor even commented on how it could be classified as a poem?
If you trolled me that I congratulate you on getting a huge rise out of me on this but as anyone can see I care deeply about my creative work.
