The Hardest Battle
What do you think is the hardest battle in the game?
not including the Ruby and emerald weapon, i mean battles that are required in order to see the ending!
I think it would be sephiroth for me, the battle at the end, where your all floating about, i know it quite easy, but when i completed the game the first time,
it was the only boss that gave me any hassle!

Sephiroth is perhaps the easiest last boss I've ever fought. I was average-leveled at best, and I was playing without using any Enemy Skills the first time I played, so no Big Guard, so I kept getting people killed by Sephiroth's Shadow Flare and Physicals. But STILL he was easy as hell, and I recall having no trouble at all really even though I had to revive people. In fact, I actually had Omnislash at that point but didn't need to use it because the battle was so easy.
The hardest boss for me was Demon Gate, the only boss I actually died on, and even then I only died once.
FF7 was way too easy in general.

i forgot about him,
he ws a pain in the ass,
still say i died more times on sephy though,
just plain not paying attention really!

Demon gate was a pain in the neck my first time through. Afterwards I was prepared for him.
As far as the best material, I think command is the best. Witem is sooo useful, and so is 2xcut. With that and my stats maxed I could smoke any boss even the weapons without any trouble.

Defenetly the one where your roaming throgh the plains and you have to fight that HUGE SNAKE....
Which the game indicates seph kills easily....

Honestly, I think my hardest battle was at the battle arena. There's once I got almost everything handicapped, Cloud with various status ailments, nothing but attack command allowed. Worst is he's mini status...I think I lost that battle though.

Yeah, thats tough before you max out the stats of the character. I remember when i just maxed out the stats of cloud i was able to take down emerald weapon without magics. Its just so time consuming.

battle arena thingy is a lot easier if you just use a ribbon as it cancels out most of the handicaps oddly enough poison is worth the most points
i dont know why but the hardest boss i faced was that robot in the submarine pen i dont know why i just couldnt beat it for ages

i didn't had a hard one, I even have beaten all the WEAPONS. I only died by a joker, but only cloud was still alive and I didn'd had any phoenix downs.
