The GOOD thing that came from Swine Flu
I was bored one day in english class and everyone was talking about the swine flu. So, out of insanity, i typed in "doihaveswineflu.org".
And this is what I got.

H1N1 is the official name. Most people still call it Swine Flu though.

It's different from Bird Flu. Bird Flu was never confirmed to spread from human to human, whereas it's been confirmed that Swine Flu ca go from person to person. In light of that, it actually makes it quite a lot worse than Bird Flu.
I have got to confess that 250 cases around the entire world really isn't all that frightening.

This is what i have to say about swine flu.
if 30K people die each year in the United states alone because of the REGULAR flu, which we have vaccines for, what about this thing? Granted, we're keeping it pretty under wraps for now and the hype in mexico is dying, but it's just starting in the countries that now have it.

I think there's somewhere between 15 and 20 confirmed cases in Britain, and all have been treated successfully. I'd attempt to find the official figures for how many people die of regular flu per year in Britain but I'm too lazy.
