The Funender Scrolls: The Stillness (OOC and Intro)
You log into the Funender as you usually do every so often and click on the index. Suddenly you are standing in a huge fantasy world with each area of the forums becoming an entire land of it's own. You end up in Lounge Peak, a bustling medieval/sci-fi futuristic/modern hybrid city with the PYP (post your pic) Enterprises and Kintai's World Tower being the largest buildings in the city. The Office Merc Corp stands ominously just below them. And though it is insanely tiny in comparison, the name itself draws you to FuNEnD3R's Hot Rides (See thread: A lamborghini parked near me tonight.  ) You walk into Post a Pic, and find that despite its hugeness, it is dusty and empty. You see yourself in a mirror and find that you have become a combination of what is relevant to your avatar and username. You look away from the mirror and you suddenly see a human figure in all white, in fact, that is their skin, they have no defining features, they are just a vague human outline. They lack eyes or a mouth. They reach towards you and their arm starts to shake. More suddenly appear in the building and start to swarm you, just before the first one can touch you, you see a flash. Blades skitting across the room. One black wing. That's all you see and all of them are on the ground. A voice speaks to you from places unknown. "It is good that you have come. You see the dangers that have infected this place. They are called the Stillness. They threaten all that the forum stands for. Knowing this, you may choose to leave, but do not do so lightly. This place has been touched by you. If you leave, to this place, you will become a thrall of the Stillness."
Okay, now that that is over with, here are the rules, because this RP will have special rules in order to keep things in line with the chaos and randomness of the forums without making it a completely mad plotless fight like Free Fight.
You have many powers that you can draw on in this world. Some of them are inherent in just being a member of the forums, and others are based upon your activity in the forums themselves.
Your inherent powers are such: You have the ability to transform yourself into anything as long as it fits your username and avatar. Your appearance must be somehow based upon both. Older members who had a former username can call upon "ancestor selves" and transform further based on their old username.
Your specific powers are based upon your posts in the forums. These powers are ranked in their level of effectiveness. The way you calculate it is as followed: The maximum level of effectiveness of any of your powers is based upon how long you have been in the forums. For instance, I have 6 stars, that means 6 years that means I can have a skill level up to 6.
But that is just your potential. It has nothing to do with your actual ability to do specific attacks or have certain skills. Say for instance I wanted to use Shadow Bunnies as minions. The level of effectiveness for me using shadow bunnies would be 0. Why is that if I have a potential skill of 6? Because it is based upon your posts on each specific skill. If I can cite 6 times where I used shadow bunnies, I can have a level 6 skill in shadow bunny minions, but the only person who could do that would be Lord J. And this is all based on posts BEFORE this was posted, so don't try to post lots of shadow bunny posts really quick.
Finally, you are weakened in your abilities when we fight in areas where you have few or no posts. For instance, since I have never posted in many of the FF discussion topics, I would be brought all the way to 0 in my skills there, despite what I have accomplished as a member in other places. (this means that in most cases, you are strongest in Lounge Peak).

"TOO MANY RULES!", some of you may be thinking. But you don't HAVE to list specific skills. If you choose to opt out of specific skills, you can still do whatever you want, it will just be much less effective than someone who mentions their specific skill and uses it. Keep this in mind if you want to fight other players (for whatever reason).
This is a limited godmod game: You don't have to accept death, you may come back in some creative or interesting way, but you can't have powers that make you take no damage in the first place, and that includes the ability to dodge every single attack.
And to encourage people who are new to RPing to join in this, we will also allow limited insta-hits. Say someone comes in and doesn't know much about RPing and says,"I hit x with my hammer." X has to take the hit, but as such, it is taken as a much weaker hit than a detailed explaination of an attempt to hit X with said hammer.
As your appearance including gender and even your personality can be changed in gameplay, a character form that is the usual is not needed. Just describe yourself in the first post in the RP. This section will be used for OOC and for the mentioning of specific abilities.

Edit: Actually, I think I will adress what you said. After you go over your "potential" skill, it takes two posts per level to get something to the next level. I was going to say that you couldn't even do that, but I realize we have a lot of people that feel like they have been here a long time that haven't been here as long as they feel like they have because they have posted a lot.
As I said before, you don't have to post your appearance or personality until the RP because everyone will be inherently able to shapeshift and even shift in personalities if need be/want to.
Besides, we should know your personality, because it is you on the forums.
And you can actually claim as many powers as you want. I would like for you to post links to the posts that mention your powers in a hidden box, but I will take everyone's word on it for their first 3 powers and for each power that is level 1.
Specific Powers can also include certain pieces of advanced technology or really heavily mentioned weapons that people use.

Well I tried looking through my posts... but its just too many... posts and not a good search... I know that I have said more posts than even lvl 10 for my wolf form... but I figured it would be better just to leave it there since I cant find them all.

Yeah. Okay, let me rephrase the ruling. You can go up to, but not over, the highest leveled person's skill level in the game. Currently I am level 6, and that is the cap. But if someone with 7 stars or higher enters, the cap will increase. Sound fair?
And since you didn't reach the limit on what I will now call the "gimme" skills, there is no need for citation. I trust your rough estimates. I just expect many older members to be able to highly exceed the number of high level skills, and in that event, I want them to be able to cite it. It is also secretly a way for me to connect with things that people have posted in the past.
I am highly considering adjusting my powers to include Space Bee Minions, because of a post that I read up on. It was hilarious. Darth Bee and General Beerevus. And the beauty of it was that I wouldn't be the only one high level in that skill.

The closest that I can think of was the one to do with Crazed's world, but that still wasn't as directly in line with this. I was writing a story that had mentions similar to this a long time ago, but it never got too popular, as most things don't get noticed , in the fiction thread.
