The FFVII remake may actually be true now
I know there we posted about how Square Enix were considering it, but now there are rumors that the FFVII remake is in development. You know, I have always waited for an FFVII remake. I will be sure to buy it when it launches, but I believe that it will not be better than the original.
Even if you look at the FFVII demo for the PS3, since the graphics are all in real time and unrealistically smooth it is missing the "flare" that FFVII intro had since it was in CG. Since I have made a lot of my own music and movies myself, when I tried to redo them later on for some reason they are missing something from the original.
I wonder if it just has to do with our senses being used to the original or something. I will enjoy the remake since FFVII is perhaps my favorite game ever, but I do not think it will have the same impact and intensity as the first one. Hopefully I am wrong though

well, the thing is, it will prolly have the same impact as it had on you to people that will be seeing the game for the first time. this is a big plus considering its audience is limited as it is.

Yeah, I feel sad when people say thay they have not played the first one since they do not know what they have been missing. I kinda liked how it had the CG running in the background (like that FFX scene when you are on the boat to Luca and Sin attacks) The FFVII PS3 demo was all in real time and I think it would be been cool if it was in CG as well and only the dynamic aspects of it like the fighting would be in real time. CG will always be ahead of real time graphics and give us a glimpse of how good games could look in the far future.
Also, I may be the only one who feels this way... but do you like how they made Cloud and Sephiroth look in the new version? I think Cloud looks like he is a weak kid and Sephiroth is a goth drug attic. I am still a fan though and noone else has mentioned it so maybe only I feel that way about their new look. The new Cloud doesn't look like a trained solider to me.

No telling whether da FF7 for ps3 will hit da global gamer stats for another time just like for ps1,there might b chance. Hope da publisities Square-Enix gonna do this time works lol,they dun hav much publisities last time.
Hehehe,weak kid and drug addict.  Mayb they'll change later on. . hope so. I only saw da intro demo of FF7 for ps3 until da scene where Cloud leaps from da train.

THE BETTER MAKE IT! If they dont their dumb! The game is freaken awesome they need to step it up a notch with the graphics! I would probably order one from japan if they make it and Square Enix's stock would go up not down.

yeah i wasnt happy with how cloud and seph looked in AC. i mean it was good, and realistic i guess... but eh. i prefer block ppl. and clouds hair wasnt as extravagant as i would have liked to see. also, seph didnt scare me. i wanted to fear him, but i felt that i could beat him with a simple 12 step program.

Square would be crazy not to remake the game, it would be such a money maker for them. I just hope they don't screw it up badly if it does happen...

Well the E3 Convention's (it's a game convention where they show previews of upcoming games and consoles etc.) going on all this week on Tech TV, and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna watch it. If they show anything regarding the new ff7 game for the ps3, I'll be sure to post it up.

hopefully there is a little more power behind aris is the PS3 version, I found he slightly lacking once you get towards where she dies... Maybe it's just me, but I hoped she'd got out with a sprint finish and instead she withered away...
I don't think Seph looks like a junkie, but he does look like he has a serious lack of sleep and maybe blood(ah, he's a insomniac vampire). I would not think of cloud as cool in the new version, in the old version he was smaller than barret, althought his hair did make him look bigger...

FF VII remake is with-out-a-doubt going to happen. Think about it. Dirge of Cerberus, Advent Children, Before Crisis(Cell Phone!), Crisis Core(PsP). We all know it will be remade.

They better remake, and it is unrealistically Smooth, freakin' looks dumb, they need it to be 10x better... I don't think they should remake it, I just think they should make the older version, available for the newer systems and computers, just make it available for newer Generation, but still keep the game all together, and alot of other stuff..
