Rikku's overdrive is really good, I like it and it does help sometimes... the thing I always use is Fire Gem or any other one mixed with something else...but you can also use these stuff without the mix in "use" without the mix and it also helps.

grenad+Grenade=that water wttack
and
a grenade+another differnt type of grenade=also =that water attack.
