The best poetry is... the stuff you make
This is a little Poem I wrote for one of my classes, enjoy or disenjoy (ohh it is a word)
/the time I like most\
She dances like the evening chasing the sunset
Slow and sensual her dance is
Her hair shines with the light of myriad stars
Her skirt glows of the setting sun
Gentle and warm is her mood
Her eyes burn with the cold-blue fires of comets
She is everything a poet could want
But elusive she is
For one second she is there the next
She drifts away on a whim
Though when she is around
I drink her in

the last two stanza was something just out of the blue from my head. Lol
It wasn't meant to turn out into a Poem thingy, but anyways, its a poem thread so why not just make one while im at it

I originally wrote a better one than lost it. I only remember he first 2 and last 2 lines so the rest is an original piece. I got the idea to write this from the show Andromeda, when Capt Dylan Hunt has to destroy a Neechian? fleet in the past (when he is from the future) and says " I have become death, destroyer of worlds..." and I thought what would the guy who has to push the button of a nuclear fusion bomb (the power of the sun) and i suppose he might feel like this...

seems like nobdy is interested in poetry very much, not nly in this topic but in the actual poetry topic started by wierdgirl. too bad, with the right poetry hearts can be won and songs can be sung.
