any tips guys i just started this an hour ago...i got this game back when i was in the ph but i never played it...then i forgot to bring it here in ca ...ohh well...so tips tips...i just finished wind shrine all lvl 8 and still lvling up...main character is thief, leena or something like that is a white mage, the other guy is monk and the pirate girl is a black mage....

sounds pretty good...but you really will want him to be a knight(the boy) because by the end of the game that's one of the best classes to have mastered
u have it good besides that....i had reina be a wht/blk mage
same w/faris but I also had her be a summoner once you learn it
everytime you learn an ability for wht or blk switch over to the other one and just use the ability in ure commands....once you get time mage..YOU HAVE TO USE IT...IT'S GREAT...you have speed/haste/comet/meteo which are very important

dude...u dont realize how long it will take to master every class for every char...there's classes (mime...red mage....hunter) which u need to get 999GP to master....plus previous abilities...and theres like 20 classes.....if u do that I'd be surprised lol
lots of classes i found mostly useless too
Hunter is very nice to learn once u get it because of the Sshot ability(4xcut basically) and also Samurai's $toss lol
i would deal like 6k on all enemies when i could only deal 1k

well while im trying to lvl up i will try and master each class...ofcourse i will master the one that i know will benefit me the most first...

I have mastered around 7-8 classes with each char, and I´m soooo tired right now... Guess I´ll have to keep leveling up forever ´til I master every class.
Anyway, some important ones to master (in my opinion) are Red Mage, Summoner, Knight, Monk and Mimic. Archer is also good for the X-Fight ability.

I found Mimic much more useful, but I like having Red Mage mastered (X-Magic, 2 magic spells), Archer (X-Fight, 4 hits, how you like to call it ), Summoner and Ninja (2-weapons). So u have a Mimic with X-Magic, Summon Lv5 (2x Bahamut), X-Fight, and you do whatever you like lol... You can hit a bunch physically, or you can use 8 bahamuts in just one turn

I had every char w/mimic except one
one had tim mag/wht/blk another had wht/summ/$toss, another had Sshot/2-swords/monk pwr/ the other was a knight w/2 hands etc.
