Is Al Bhed a language or a Dialect? I'm wondering what everyone thinks about this!

But isn't a language supposed to be a totally diferent way of speaking, not just changing the letters?

but
I think they called it a language in the game, and even if not, a dialect should be similar in some way (right ?) and not so much different.

r u trying to call me dumb or sumthing? it's my opinion that it's a language because dialect is "similar" to another language. Al Bhed is totally different and has random letters everywhere. If it was dialect, the letters should be somehow in the same original format as the english words!

I agree,  it's a language It's more different from english, then my own language.
So it just can't be a dialect

Al Bhed, was made this way it would been too much truble to make it a "real" new language...
and a dialect is from a certian, one, language, rigth ?

yes, I just got a little mixed up
I mean that a dialect comes from a language, and that dialect is based on that language, which means it can't be used (have basis) in another language.
(or something like that, it's hard to me to explain)

Dazzard. Dialect means that it is somewhat in the same format of a word. I don't see the Al Bhed having the same format as our words.
