Christians do not say Jesus was a prophet, we believe he was the son of God.
I'll agree that Christmas has it's flaws, commercialism, the date itself, idiots, but that doesn't mean the spirit of it has been * on like so many people evidently believe. Every year on christmas the first thing I do when I wake up is read a random passage, because it's the day I celebrate the birth of my savior. I'm pretty sure it's not the day he was born, but that doesn't matter to me. I also couldn't care less what society does to Christmas, it will not in any way affect me as a Jesus worshipping christian. I feel sorry for the christians who do care. Are you saying your faith will be rocked by societies actions? You might want to work on that. Also, keep in mind, it's not the most important Christian holiday, like most people think it is. Remember, he didn't save us by being born, he saved us by getting back up.
