Super Smash Bros Melee
I didn't find a thread for this, so here it is. Discuss everything SSBM here. Favorite character, best map, anything.
I like playing as Gannondorf. He may be slow, but if you know how to use him, his power is unmatched. My best map would have to be the larger, more open areas, like Hyrule Castle.

you cant really go wrong with hyrule castle.
and my fav character would have to be kirby. hes got everything i could ever need. but a close second is fox/falco (they are too similar for it to matter really)

and yet there is a difference between them. Falco is slower and heeavier but with increased attack.
I used to use kirby, but I found his power lacking.

oh and i think fox's gun shoots faster than falcos, but as for kirby... he make be lacking a bit, but he has the right tools to get any battle done.

I've got a tournament coming up and I've been practicing this for the past month for two hours a day trying to figure out everuones strengths and weaknesses with Ganon. I just recently managed to beat the 100 man melee but not without difficulty. I knew I was better than when I started though when I beat it because I put three computers (Samus, Fox, and Link, all the harder to beat opponents) at level nine all against me and won barely. I hope that human players are easier though.

There's a SSBM tournament? Bet there isn't in England though. No one would play if I was entering. I have a group of friends who were unbeatable at this. Until I beat them. In a tem match where three of them were against me. 
I used Kirby to destroy them.

our school did the fundraiser thing with videogames,thogh its the same 64 people that show up every year, i always come in second, and my friend patrick always wins.

I really like playing as picachu. He's quick and has some pretty powerful attacks and when used right is really hard to hit. Not to mention in party games with a lot of players he is amazing.

i normally play either: kirby, marth, fox or samus
best land, well, i like playing in: Big blue
when you're on top of the cars you can jump on the street and jump up to get behind your opponent
i only missed 2 more lands at home, the one you're supposed to get after hitting a certain distance in the homerun contest
and the last event, that ones sucks!
and now my brother took it to holland and i can't play anymore -_-'

yeah, that last one i've tried several times with pikachu (his thunder and speed is very usefull) marth (sword gives the advantage) and, well, actually i tried it with all but those 2 were the best...
i could only get the hands till around like 200 or 150 HP

I like using Roy, Link and Kirby. And the hands aren't the last event, they're the second last event.
