Super smash brawl type of controller
arright, before people think I'm stupid, I know that you need to buy a different cotroller for super smash brawl, but does anyone know if you could use the old gamecube controllers for this game as well, because I don't want to dish out money for another controller just to play brawl(well maybe, don't know how good it will be yet).

You were supposed to be able to use a Gamecube pad but you can't now. You have to buy a classic controller.

True. The Classic Controller isn't very different from the Gamecube control. I'm still going to buy one for SSBB though.

that site apparently gets updated on a weekly base by the creators of the game, so i gues checking it out once a week will be rewarded 
that fire cracker weapon looks fun btw
just like that city from super mario sunshine, seems like a good map
and i'd love to try playing with pit, he looks cool
and and and, well, there's just too much that seems cool about the game ^_^

game play, mario was addicting back then
i used to have mario and duck hunt on the nes, my real dad had one, and i used to play it alot, never got realy far though, wasn't that good in games, considering i was like 7 i didn't do bad, at least i knew what to do XD
in the old days i never got to play sonic though, so wouldn't know
and the fact both of them had a tv series helped as well, and mario has had some revolutionary breakthrews as well, like... mario on nintendo 64 (NINTENDO SIXTY FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR) and mario sunshine, where he uses equipment for the first time....
and next stop: mario galaxy and paper mario if i'm correct...
and not to forget SSB of course

i freaking LOVED Mario in Melee.
he was the only character that i would play NOT to win, but rather piss off the other players with his cape.. if you get good at it you are near invincible and can really irritate your enemies as it deflects and switches most attacks.
his uppercut is also fast and interrupts allot of moves and puts the enemy at a disadvantage, which also irritates.
his whirlwind is sometimes tricky to pull off, but if successful, the annoyance is complete as you land quickly and easily to the ground safely, while the opponent flies vulnerable in the air.
his fireballs do little damage, but damn if they don't just piss the other opponents off as they take the small ineffective damage repetitively. sometimes even stopping an attack.
his Power attack while not really annoying, is his ONLY real attack that if done right can kill an enemy with only moderate damage. unfortunately it puts Mario at a disadvantage as the move works slightly better than the whirlwind.
he is quick on his feet and jumps quite high so can outmaneuver most of the other opponents (except for a few)
Generally, he doesn't get the win very often, but it sure is fun playing him.

i normally picked kirby to fool around, i just loved going airborn and drop down on people like that rock ( down B attack) that anoys others as well XD
just like sucking them in, sadly for them, it made me win as well XD
and ehmm let me see who i used to full around with as well...
mr game and watch, his pancakes are annoying XD
or donkey kong, just love smashing on people
and... that would be about it
