Suggestions
well i saw someoen made one in the ps3 thread so im doin it here
suggest to me if you will some good wii games, im open to most
not reallyu driving unless it has a hook ^^
rpg is fine
party games fine
sports fine
platform fine
fps fine
just you know dont spurt a name then say nothing about the game XD

A must-have game is definitely Super Mario Galaxy.
I'm pretty sure you've heard of it. It's an incredibly gorgeous game and the music's possibly the best soundtrack I've ever heard in a game.
really anything mario related (Super Smash Bros., Mariokart wii , New super mario brothers), you can bet is worth the money, especially since Wii titles don't go past 40 american dollars (once in a while 50) I'm sure you'd like Mariokart even if you're not into driving games.
As for wiiware... yeah... there aren't many titles that stand out, and most are actually pretty short. But if you want to, there's final fantasy: crystal chronicles,--- My life as a king, and my life as a darklord... which are both pretty addictive.
FF4:the after years was really fun and the story was great, but it's just too darn expensive xD
....I'll shut up now..... =D

i have metroid prime 3 which i enjoy playing
i'm kinda looking forward to red steel 2 (comes out on 30th of october)
wii sports resort is a great game to have, but having a 2nd controller with wii motion plus is what gives the actual fun of the game, but also makes it a little more expensive...
mario galaxy, got it, but haven't played it in ages, in fact, i haven't played the wii itself in ages XD
super smash bros brawl, cool game, but it's more party based, multiplayer 
bad buy: transformers 2
you're not really free and there's not many characters you can actually play...
the xbox/ps3 version sounds a lot better
also try fire emblem, my brother's got it for GC and he really wants to play the wii one...

Smash is by far my favorite wii game, but you need multiplayer action, it's not a one player game. And hopefully you have some of your old gamecube controllers laying around because your not going to want to use the wiimote
Also - LoZ - Twilight Princess was freaking amazing, the controller is somehow perfect for a zelda game

my 3 fave wii games. super smash bros brawl, fire emblem radient dawn and drumroll please finaly the amazing sonic and the black knight  sonic and the black knight was short but had a AWSOME sound track and great gameplay! i loved it! those three are thee best EVER! but thats just my opinion
