Stupidest Crash spot EVER
Hello! I'm a total forum n00b, so hi.
I have a kinda big poblem. See, I am a HUGE ff8 fan, but i have NEVER seen the end of the game, as in the 8 years i have ben playing, i have not had a copy that doesnt freez somewhere inside ultemicias castle. I refuse to go watch the end video on yotube, so i just need to know, WITHOUT SPOILERS, is it worth keeping looking or should i just give up?

Game's are no good until the very end of them. It is watching the ending because you defeated the whole game which is satisfying, and not the ending itself.

It's different from one person to another. Other people may like it but you may not. Personally I liked it to a certain degree. However, I don't think it's the best ending in the Final Fantasy series. That's the best I can give you with no spoilers.

altrnatively if you have a pc (hopefully the one you posted with is yoursXD)
you could download an emulator for the playstation onto your pc and then download an iso of the game ^^

The ending wasnt one of my favorites, but like Nerth said. Games that arent finished kinda lack cuz you dont have that sense of completion. So I'd say its worth it XD

I had a dodgy disc one once and it wouldn't even get past the intro sequence!
It is worth the wait... Surely after a story that epic, you want to see how it ends?

lol i have nearly the same problem (srry for bringing back this old topic but these final fantasy forums are very inactive so someone should reactive them) FFVIII was the first FF i played in my whole life, that was when I was 10 years old or so :S, now im almost 17 and i still havent completed it!...i have played it at least 7 times but everytime i´m in the 3rd cd...I try to level up all my chars until lvl 99 but then i get tired and bored and never play again, until 3 months after when i want to play it again but i have already deleted the game so i have to star again, and then in the third cd i get tired again. I actually saw the ending in youtube and i´ve heard my whole life (exaggeration) how is the 4th cd so im not really desperate in completing it

If you want to quick level go to either island closest to heaven or hell use quistis degenerator and you should be level 99 in a couple of hours
